General observations:
It's early in the season but everything is positive so far.
My daughter enjoys going to practice which to me is a high priority at this age.
The coaches appear to be engaged and energetic. They show up early to set up ect. Practice seems to have variety, we had a scrimmage there were quite obvious issues the following practices the coach had drills specifically to work on those.
One practice the director on the girls side was out observing the coaches. I'm not sure if that is helpful or not.
I'm sure most of the valor haters will say this is the minimum. But when my daughter was u9 with a different club my daughter did not like her coach, the coach was not fair and punished the girls regularly. This is a much more positive environment for my kid.
Once the games start they may not be top teams in the area but I have confidence my kid will continue to have fun and improve as the season progresses.

I'm happy to hear the experience is different this time around. I hope your player has a fun year. The club plays a big roll in the general attitude but also if a coach flat out is toxic it makes kids quit the sport.

Did valor get a new social media manager?

They have a social media manager? Lol so many pigs at the trough. Maybe that's why their fees are so high.

Trust me, it's better that this guy is in charge of social media. Wouldn't want him coaching...

Honestly could be said for many Valor coaches, but I guess only one can switch over to posting TikToks instead.

Wait is is CS? no way. I don't think he even knows how to send a photo via text message. They must have hired someone because their page looks cohesive and nicely put together these days

As a 3rd yr Valor parent, coaches/org will you please make an effort to stop entering into less competitive events then requesting to play in the bottom tiers of these events so we can get those pics over to marketing to post immediately after the final?

And please, please, do not schedule tournaments out of town in back to back weeks only to play our own 2nd, 3rd, or 4th team (who is in the same tier/bracket) in a semi or a final is something I kindly ask the coaches/org make an extra effort to avoid this season.

That happened all the time last year. Two Valor teams in the same bracket, drive all the way to Va Beach to play the team you scrimmage against every practice, its so stupid.
