Kate is terrible at her job! She can barely speak a sentence without mumbling or looking down at her notes. She *looks* like she is good at her job, however. Nice body and pretty face. That’s essentially all she is.

NP. She was a top student at competitive private boarding schools and was accepted at University of Edinburgh, one of Britain’s and World’s top colleges. In fact, she was bullied in school for being “too perfect”. She sure has a lot of grit and is quite good at playing the long game. She seems uncomfortable and nervous in front of large audiences but very personable and good at building rapport in small groups or one on one. She seems pretty good at reading the room and understanding where her role fits in at any point in time. Also pretty good at managing staff, those who work with her stay and are loyal. The causes she champions are aligned with her long time interests and I don’t see her jumping on the issue du jour. She has been in the public eye for 20 years and she is consistent. She is always polished and very professional in her engagements.

She is very good at the job she has been assigned.

DP. She is beautiful and seems like at least in the past she was nice. However, being able to speak comfortably in front of large groups of people is an essential part of the job so I’m not sure that it is possible to be good at it without that. It’s like if you’re a litigator and your nice and good at writing briefs. But if you can’t confidently speak in front of a judge you really can’t be that great at your job.

That's William's role, not hers. Being good at small groups or one-on-one is hers.

Why bother? As soon as the Queen dies all of these places are clearly bouncing. If they even make it that long.

I don't respect her. I admire her grit and IDK why the British media coddles her so much.

Let's talk last night's appearance. She looked fabulous but so did Camilla - who the rota just straight up ignored. Camilla's dress is Kate's usual aesthetic and when Kate wore an almost-identical dress the rhetoric was 'Look radiant in rhinestones like Kate wearing in Jenny Packham'.

With Camilla its crickets. Which I guess is better than calling her a homewrecker but its just so telling.

I hate her. She’s a home wrecker and destroyed Diana’s relationship with Charles from the beginning. He’s at fault too, but she should have just stepped off and said no. She’s the worst and better not become Queen

Diana was a dumb fluff who had to marry a rich man. Charles married her out of a sense of obligation after his family pulled Camilla away from him. If they had allowed him to marry Camilla, Diana would now be divorced from her wealthy second husband and interfering in her grandchildren’s lives

DP. Camilla as Charles great true love is a rebrand. Camilla is the last woman standing. He didn’t ask her to wait for him because she was in reality one of a few girlfriends. Including his BFF’s wife Kanga. Camilla AND Diana both also seemed to think he was having an affair with the boys’ nanny Tiggy. His family didn’t tear them apart he didn’t fight for her because she was one of many. But I do agree that he preferred her to Diana.

Camilla is still a home wrecker. No matter what you say, she could have said no to Charles. She didn’t. She instead flaunted her affair to everyone and destroyed a marriage. Charles is also, if not more, culpable.

ZOMG Canada is sooo mad. Another cock-up! If only someone in a deep red Loro Piano cape jacket would have been supported by a skinny white beyotch the world would be amaze, but nooooo. Sadly, this is another win for our (s)heroes in Montecito.

I don’t know why Charles and Camilla get so much grief. Anne was having an affair with Camilla’s husband at the same time all this was originally going down in the 70s. Then she was forced to marry the second man she had affair with in 92. Camilla’s husband is still ‘chummy’ with Anne to this day. None of them are clean.

I think Kate is seen as a breath of fresh air because out of the senior royals she’s the only one NOT having affairs. She hangs out with her mother and that’s it.

I mean if the BRF/Rota would stop telling on themselves, someone else wouldn’t seem like the obvious choice. They’re not going to deploy sequin gown to do roundtables on Native children, disparity, and racial justice. I doubt she could say anything more than ‘Hi - those feathers are pretty’

You have to ask yourself who is going to continue their legacy with Harry and Meghan and Prince Andrew off the scene? There’s a huge workload there’, he said. - Phil Dampier, the Telegraph 9/30/21

Diana married her older sister’s boyfriend and had an affair a year into the marriage and many others after. She loved theatrics and wanted the role, she and Charles had an understanding. Things went downhill he started flaunting his affair and made her look like a chum.

She was pregnant with William a year into her marriage - what are you talking about?

And older sisters boyfriend is stretching it. Charles was 32 and auditioning every noble virgin he could find. The older Spencer girl turned him down after his original choice, Lord Mountbatten’s daughter, ran away after her father was bombed by the IRA for his connections to the BRF. So yeah - they had to go younger. Only the stupid and infantile could be tricked into walking down that aisle.

You have to ask yourself that. I’m still kinda stuck on why the greatest woman in human history wanted to be associated with these dicks. I know it’s Waity Katy’s fault for not time-traveling to save kids because Hairless totes would have! Theirs is a special love!!!

Nooooo! Not Anne! I’m actually a little shocked here. But also hoping that her life has been a satisfying one.

It’s only Americans who seem scandalized. This kind of behavior is very common in moneyed and aristocratic circles in Europe. Everyone knows the rules and almost everyone turns a blind eye as long as they get to maintain their money, status and power. That’s why the royals were caught unawares when Diana decided to upset the applecart.

I’m not scandalized. I’m confused when everyone from Phillip to Anne to Charles were having open affairs and peccadillos, but when a divorcee is marrying into the family the shock that rolled through the ranks was better reserved for the first publicly gay monarch.

Most Americans can’t abide hypocrites for good reason.
