I don't respect her. I admire her grit and IDK why the British media coddles her so much.

Let's talk last night's appearance. She looked fabulous but so did Camilla - who the rota just straight up ignored. Camilla's dress is Kate's usual aesthetic and when Kate wore an almost-identical dress the rhetoric was 'Look radiant in rhinestones like Kate wearing in Jenny Packham'.

With Camilla its crickets. Which I guess is better than calling her a homewrecker but its just so telling.

Camilla looked fantastic. Thought I think Camilla does not care that she is "ignored." I think Camilla is rather low-key and enjoys being low-key.

Okay but Camilla is the Princess of Wales. Regardless of whether or not she likes being ignored, its been beat in peoples head that you don't show up someone who ranks higher than you. The tabloids are acting like the future Queen doesn't even exist.

I mean Kate’s Uncle has even said that he thinks the crown should skip Charles and Co. So not sure what the actual rules are.

And Kate’s uncle is the ultimate authority on these matters?

I mean none of these people are authorities on this as this is all set by parliament. But I doubt Carole or likely Kate disagrees with him.

And after watching the Crown, I really can’t stand her. She and Charles are despicable

So you’re admitting all you know about a topic is from some fictional tv show?

So it isn’t true that Charles had an affair with Camilla while he was married to Diana? It’s make believe?

I hate her. She’s a home wrecker and destroyed Diana’s relationship with Charles from the beginning. He’s at fault too, but she should have just stepped off and said no. She’s the worst and better not become Queen

Diana was a dumb fluff who had to marry a rich man. Charles married her out of a sense of obligation after his family pulled Camilla away from him. If they had allowed him to marry Camilla, Diana would now be divorced from her wealthy second husband and interfering in her grandchildren’s lives

DP. Camilla as Charles great true love is a rebrand. Camilla is the last woman standing. He didn’t ask her to wait for him because she was in reality one of a few girlfriends. Including his BFF’s wife Kanga. Camilla AND Diana both also seemed to think he was having an affair with the boys’ nanny Tiggy. His family didn’t tear them apart he didn’t fight for her because she was one of many. But I do agree that he preferred her to Diana.

Kate is terrible at her job! She can barely speak a sentence without mumbling or looking down at her notes. She *looks* like she is good at her job, however. Nice body and pretty face. That’s essentially all she is.

Showing the world who the real star is.

You and I both know if a certain someone wore that she's be called a two-bit showgirl that's too Hollywood. I think Kate is glamorous and I also think she's very good about matching to the theme of events (in this case No Time To Die - Bond scenario) plus dressing in a style that ages her enough that it's less 'competitive' with her 70-year-old MIL who is also on the same red carpet. Good for her. Hate the dress though.

Totally agree. Hate the dress but she looks great, it suits her. And no way Megan could get away wearing this.

My mother had an end of life nurse last year who was at school with Kate. She said that she was incredibly kind and never treated any one badly. There was a girl who was mocked for her acne and Kate not only stood up for her but took her under her wing and made sure she was included in everything. And this was during her early teen years when most people are horrible.

So there's that.

NP. She was a top student at competitive private boarding schools and was accepted at University of Edinburgh, one of Britain’s and World’s top colleges. In fact, she was bullied in school for being “too perfect”. She sure has a lot of grit and is quite good at playing the long game. She seems uncomfortable and nervous in front of large audiences but very personable and good at building rapport in small groups or one on one. She seems pretty good at reading the room and understanding where her role fits in at any point in time. Also pretty good at managing staff, those who work with her stay and are loyal. The causes she champions are aligned with her long time interests and I don’t see her jumping on the issue du jour. She has been in the public eye for 20 years and she is consistent. She is always polished and very professional in her engagements.

She is very good at the job she has been assigned.

That’s just palace PR. K/W fire more people than anyone else in the palace. They even let one girl go the day after her honeymoon.

Women over 50 are almost always invisible. Camilla is 74--she looks lovely here, but she's still an older woman in a pretty but conservative dress.
Camilla, like Kate, knows how to play the long game. By remaining discreet and uncontroversial ("Never complain; never explain"), she's managed to go from widespread public hate to grudging acceptance.

Yes, she let someone go (whatever the reasons were). Notice the woman worked with Kate Middleton for 7 years and did not quit - clearly she liked her job and her boss very well. A certain other person has a revolving door of staff, even in the US. Her high profile chief of staff quit in less than a year

DP. She is beautiful and seems like at least in the past she was nice. However, being able to speak comfortably in front of large groups of people is an essential part of the job so I’m not sure that it is possible to be good at it without that. It’s like if you’re a litigator and your nice and good at writing briefs. But if you can’t confidently speak in front of a judge you really can’t be that great at your job.
