I don’t understand why there is such hatred towards BSC. No club is perfect.

We are at Potomac so don’t say I’m defending them.

Not one of the posters involved in the BSC stuff but I think it’s just posters at the BSC posters. BSC has had a consistent record in league play over the past 2 years. If you start beating your chest and saying you have a great team people will look up your record.

This only goes through November...maybe they stopped play?

https://public.totalglobalsports.com/public/event/2039/individual-team/17/46815/9

Also a strong team does not reply on one player. So keep having at it. It is entertaining!

I don't think there is all that much hatred of BSC. All big clubs pick up some detractors because they interact with lots of people and inevitably upset some of them. But I don't see BSC attracting any more negative posts than Arlington or McLean for example. And it definitely does not get as many as Loudoun.

I think it is more about big chest dad pumping his DD and teams worth when the league record and standings don't fit the narrative other than excuses.

Look at it this way, if this was a U16 or U17 team and one kids injury as well as other team issues caused the fall season to be 0-5-1 that's it. Because of HS soccer cutting into the other half that's your record. Because this is a U13 team without HS soccer to worry about this team has a full ten month season to get back on track. However, fast forward to HS years, playing an intensive fall or spring ECNL season with multiple double headers even a two week injury can cause a kid to miss four games and almost half a season. That excuse just doesn't fly. And it also points to the often mentioned elephant in room called dilution.

One or two players making the difference between top half or last place is not a deep team. And on top of it, the vibe the poster gives off about the value and pedestal this particular player is put upon makes this a very unattractive team to consider joining in the future. If the poster is dad, sure I get it, but if this is another parent? Well that is pretty scary that they have pinned their hopes on one kid.

And of course, we haven't even addressed he who shall not be named.

Or you are an idiot and do not take the time look up the opponents rankings and records. Every single ECNL loss except for one came against teams ranked higher than any NOVA team. So you can sit and spin on that.

Again, can't wait to see what happens this spring and how much you will eat crow. Still no response I see about how McLean was beaten badly by 08 BSC. Pretty obvious who you are at this point. Please stop complaining about BSC because you decided to go a team that happens to be worse than the team you continue to insult over and over and over again.

When Big Chest dad goes out of his way to cite scrimmage results one must look at the league results.

You are a petty parent who shouldn't be allowed to post. Your interest in the 2008 BSC Girls team is stalker like. Your axe to grind is extremely dull. You have major psychological issues.

Previous record was posted in order to defend against your relentless attacks and BS accusations. You refuse to say what club you are from but we know it's either McLean or FCV. You do this because you are a weak coward who is trying to use a message forum in order to insult coaches, parents, and players. It is disrespectful and nasty.

Please worry about your own kid and team, not ours.

What is weak is bragging about being dominant at U13. What is weak is talking up a 12 year old girl on a forum stripping her of anonymity. What is weak is thinking 7th out of 8th is good. What is weak is thinking scrimmage results matter. And did I mention talking openly about 12 year old girls on a forum?

All of these things were done by Big Chest Dad. If you don't want people talking on a forum about your club, team or kids then I suggest you keep to yourself, take your losing record and STFU.

I am "Big Chest Dad". We can argue about scrimmages all day. Last time I checked, 13 year old girls don't chase butterflies around on fields. In fact, the last time I checked, they should be playing just as hard to solidify their starting roster spot. At least I hope they are trying there hardest, any good coach would be upset if they didn't. Last time I checked these scrimmages had refs. Last time I checked, they even give 2009 players and opportunity to play a couple of minutes.

And finally, yes, last time I checked, these girls had a higher GA than GF in these scrimmages. Sure, might not be a winner on the internet, but the girls walk off the field and know who won. Make no mistake about that.

Please stop your useless posts. I just don't get why you insist on being such a nasty person about BSC.

What is weak is bragging about being dominant at U13.
You started it by posting disinfo and lies. Never said we were "dominant" either only that our ECNL record could be misleading, which it is.

What is weak is talking up a 12 year old girl on a forum stripping her of anonymity.
Never mentioned her name, just said one of our best players was hurt all season. It's not a secret.
I also find this awfully ironic from someone who has to non-stop post about a coach in his mid 60's that you know nothing about.

Just like you are, yes. Even worse, you have decided to attack a whole team of 12 yr olds, coaches, and parents.

Is this real life?

If the girls walked off the field after a scrimmage with a sense of accomplishment over a win that is hysterical. I'm glad they played a practice game to win. Practice, we are here talking about practice.

When the bullets were real and the scores kept, your team is a losing team. That is what is on record. That is the difference between a scrimmage and a game. your best result was a 0-0 tie against last place PDA South.

Those are the facts, those are the results that were kept, with refs and everything. Such a riveting battle of the titans for 7th place coming to a 0-0 tie.

Your ECNL is not misleading. It is what it is. Anything else is an excuse. You can call it an explanation but that doesn't move the losses to the win column.

Never mentioned her name, just said one of our best players was hurt all season. It's not a secret.

Rosters are posted online. You named the position and the team. How hard is it to guess with a level of certainty which kid you are talking about. It is NEVER cool to talk about specific players on these forums. It is a noob move. Don't do it. It isn't good for the kid and as a team parent if I found out you talked about my kid on a forum like this I'd have a conversation with you and the team coach about it.

What is weak is thinking 7th out of 8th is good.

The league record is not misleading. They are sanctioned games. They are what they are. As Bill Parcells used to say, "you are what your record says you are."

A coach is fair game. The official posted results are fair game, espicially when people seem to demand and want to post about scrimmage scores. You want to talk about scores, lets talk about the scores that are published

So why do you keep bringing up McLean? You know what their record is? Just checked the Jeff cup third flight. All those teams are ranked lower vs BSC. Looks like Loudoun is the only team fairly close to BSC. So BSC should easily win the flight.
Was your star player out last year also?

Look here McLean Dad, fine, we didn't do well in ECNL in the fall...ended up getting 3rd group at Jeff Cup because of it. While were at it, let's mention the fact McLean is 11th of 13 teams. Our team is better than our record and they are looking forward to spring. There is nothing wrong with saying that, some call it being optimistic. Everyone has rough seasons, some even tie BRYC 3-3 in ECNL competition. The important part is the kids play hard, even during scrimmages, ummm, I mean practices, and try to get better.

As for your giveaway, unless you are a complete stalker, nobody ever doxxed kid. ECNL rosters list a position (or don't), nobody even knows who the kid is UNLESS YOU USED TO BE PART OF THE TEAM...or, you are a asshole stalker. Nobody cares that much. Also, everyone knows she is very very talented and I know Dad would be happy to hear that, especially coming off an injury. BSC parents tend to be happy and not carry a lot of drama, at least in my experience.

We'll agree to disagree about scrimmage "practice" games that are even complete with referees. Your McLean just got heavily outworked during practice just a couple weeks ago. I hope they start practicing harder and continue to improve development otherwise, it's possible they might see a fall season like ours. Unfortunately you have 17 kids on your roster, so some not as much.

So I'll wish you the best this Spring moving forward. I would suggest you do the same as we agree to disagree. No more point in talking circles to each other. It's obvious who you are as well at this point. And if coaches are fair game, please let me know when my car is ready, thanks.

ECNL rosters list a position (or don't), nobody even knows who the kid is

BSC lists the position, YOU posted the players position. And since several kids have the same position designation you have also dragged them into this as well. Again, if I was a parent on your team and I found out about you exposing my kid on a forum like this we would have a talk with the coach about it.
