Bullis wins a big game, the response is always that the opponent played poorly.

When was the last time Landon got held to 2? What about in the IAC?

A 2 goal output from an area contender is pretty unheard of. Convincing win for Bullis, but there are plenty of games where scoring 6 feels like a failure.

With GC over GZ, the carousel continues.

The DMV top 7 (Bullis, Prep, Landon, PVI, SJC, GZ, GC) have crazy parity this year.

Should make for a great final month.

Both goalies played well and both offenses missed some easy ones. Both are true. 4th quarter was all Bullis on both ends. Bullis v Prep is going to be a great game next week.

Neutral Observer here...

I attended the Bullis - Landon game yesterday.

Both Landon and Bullis play very sound defense and both goalies looked sharp. Bullis' goalie made some very good saves in the first half.

Overall, I didn't walk away thinking any offense was particularly special. Landon had some good looks in the first half, but was way out of sync in the 2nd half.

The difference in the game was Bullis SSDMs and overall team athleticism. The Bulldogs won the groundball battle and their close defense dominated Landon's attack. Landon had zero answers to Bullis ' aggressive defensive play.

Bullis won the battle at the faceoff X.

It will be interesting to see how Bullis performs against GP next week.

Does anyone have any commentary on the GC vs GZ last night? I thought GZ would have won, but what the heck do I know....

There is a big drop off after STA

Going into yesterday it looked like there were 6 area teams that were legit, 3 in IAC and 3 in WCAC. After yesterday it looks like there are 7, with GC now in the mix. They still have a tough run with PVI and SJ so that may change, but they’ve got the opportunity.

Thanks Prep dad! Let's see, GP lost to #7 GZ, but beat #6 GC and #8 STA. Meanwhile, Bullis beat #5 Landon, #6 GC, & #7 GZ (who beat GP). Even if GP beats Bullis and Landon in regular season they would still trail PVI by a lot.

From what I heard GP played PVI in a scrimmage in the beginning of the season. It didn’t go so well for GP.

Maybe cuz Speaks has 17 D1 commits and Gonzaga has 4?

I'd send my kid over to GZ over SJC any day of the week.

Speaks over recruits; he can't coach. Zero culture on Military Road.

Bullis d was good...but Landon played their collective worst game of the season today.

Sounds like Landon apologism. Bullis has been playing well all season. They earned the win outright

Yes they did. Score was 3-0 at half and 3-2 at one point. Bullis definitely the better team however Landon will win should they play again.

Everybody on this forum says “They will beat them next time they meet.” Why? Both teams gained some knowledge about the other and each will be motivated to win for their own reasons. Bullis has been very consistent. If they beat Prep that remark will seem even more ridiculous.
