Announcements are a game + you don't play your best cards in the first round/rounds.

yea, first to market is never a winning strategy

The big clubs decisions have already been made. The only negotiation might be switching both boys and girls at the same time.

No offense but what exactly has ECNL done this year?

They promoted a club on the boys side and then they left to mls next…

Then they promoted some unheard of teams to NL…

Dallas Surf, NVA, McLean, Loudon, Midwest United are all pretty good pick ups.

None of those are "pretty good pick ups".

Depends on the age groups. For GA, the new upcoming 2011's and below this is an excellent move, for older girls, not such a great move. Just look at recent matches and compare.

Are you saying bigger moves will be made later?

Look at 2012 and younger and your comment is no longer relevant.

This move is for the future not for the now. NVA even told parents, if you are already in ECNL and getting recruited, go to an ECNL team.

It’s the 2012 and younger that will create the shift.

GA just flipped 3 local clubs.

What is your definition of taking over? To me this seems like a league that is growing.

Don't worry we'll print some GA hats up for you so you can look stupid at GA events when your kids club switches over.

Are you kidding me? I came here from there and this is far and away the only place that cares so feverishly for GA with the new changes.

These moves barely move the needle on a national scale.

Wow. You can see five years into the future and know what it will be like? Any winning lottery numbers for this weekend you'd like to share too?
