Battlefield lost 2X today on their own turf today. Not sure what all the hype in this forum was for. Embarrassing. Suspect we won't be hearing BF parents slapping each other's back about how they're ready to take on VA private schools in addition to their four championships starting this year. |
momsense. Hard to get up after huge emotional game with Madison. They will be playing when your team is planning summer vacation |
It never ends... |
So they lost two games today because they won a tough one a few days ago? |
Doing, ding, ding. We have a winner. Only one hour after game time for excuses to start. Over/under was 55 minutes. |
I’m a Madison booster who was at the game this week. BF is a good team and earned the win over a good Madison team. It appeared they played a close game and lost to Langley today. Nothing embarrassing about that. |
BF patent, no excuses. We did not play well in the first game for the first three quarters. It was as very good game against Meridian Against Langley, we were up and doing well in the first half but fell apart in the second half Being that we played two very good teams, I’m not surprised that wet lost both. Also could have won both. Also could have lost Madison No one from BF has EVER said we will win four in a row, so stop believing the trolls. COULD we win a state title, of course, but so could any other team Great games against two great teams today. I would rather lose now than in the playoffs |
I believe the embarrassing comment was referring to the non-stop hype, not for losing two games. |
Do you seriously think anyone outside of BF is posting about M7 and 4x other the Battlefield Floppers deranged poster. |
Trolls everywhere around these parts |
Are the tournament results posted anywhere? |
four games in four days, and yes, simple psychology- Huge emotional games tend to cause down games afterward. |
Mr. Ding ding is an idiot. 4 games in 4 days, and yes, big games can yield flat performances the next game or two. |
Ding ding ding. Righteous indignation with the excuses, all who have that fill that in your bingo square. It was your tournament. Take your loss, lick your wounds, and learn. Stop whining. |
That's the point others have been making about BF and their easy path to states. Some regions have several "big games" that they need to win to get to the state finals. Some regions may need one big game to get there. The really good teams win consistently, even after emotional wins. |
