Bulldogs 12 - West Springfield 11 in 2OT at the Westfield Tourney today.

#19 for West Springfield was dominant on the self draw and kept them in it. No way to stop her without a draw stick. Best on the draw we’ve seen all year.

Robo looked really solid with younger players finally starting to step up into their roles along with them getting their power players back and healthy like number 5 on defense. I could see them being in good shape for winning the region and easily the district but I don’t think they are quite ready to make a state run again.

West Po looked like they were playing the game already lost from the start after robo took a strong lead in the 1st quarter. Number 10 did her best getting 3-4 of west po’s goals but one player can’t win games alone.

Their defense looked non-existent. Goalie did what she could.

Why any HS team would not use a drawstick these days is beyond me. Seems like negligence on the coach's part if teams don't have one.
