Approval rate drops further. For context, his approval rating "floor" appears to be in the low-to-mid 30% range, with his all-time personal low in major polls being 29% in a Pew Research poll conducted in January 2021. His lowest final rating in Gallup polling was 34% at the end of his first term.

At what point do republican members of congress realize they need to break with Trump if they want to have any chance of keeping their seats? I know they’re scared of him going after them in a primary, but how much of a threat is that really when he’s less popular than cancer?
