As you advance you compete against top 25 club teams. Some of the top ga clubs are top ten in the USA. Don’t expect your kick and run style will get you anywhere further than you went before. Apparently, none of the Loudoun ECNL regional league players were invited back to NVA tryouts. Also, ga refs call fouls so the ECNL bully style play doesn’t work in ga.

Actually NVA did the right thing. Why would they fill a quality ECNL team with RL just because they switched to GA (no offense to RL)? They are expecting to lose some players but they are also adding GA players to the ECNL mix. That is a formula for dominating GA . Time will tell.

How is this possible when 10+ NVA players showing up for fvu tryouts🥸?
even more at vda… this hot take is comical. Those RL players will remember the false promise…

Don’t know what year tryout you are talking about, but there was not 10+ at any event I attended and I attended FVU and VDA. I think you are full of it and are playing the troll. At least be specific to the year so we can call you out on your BS. Or better yet, shut it, and let the teen age kids do their thing without you calling them out on it. Are you an adult, because this is not adult behavior.

Wow, are you upset?.

yall are all going to be in same boat after next season. Arlington will be MLSnext and GA fall 26. VDA also wants MLSnext which will also mean GA for them. FVU is going to lose ECNL status after boys finish with another losing season across the board.

Ok, I’ll bite. If VDA did this, would it be VSA and PWSI is dropped to the side? This is the only true Alliance in the area, so curious how that would play out.

Most should really not even be concerned with the upcoming 08/07 team. They should have a decent number of girls already committed. If you are committed, what difference does it make if you play ECNL or GA. Just try to stay healthy and get better by playing. I do think NVA could have a strong 08/07 team if all the girls stay together. I know for the team at least half the girls are committed.
If I had a younger girl, I honestly would be looking to move to an ECNL team. The math is the math. Higher chance of exposure.
There will be many girls (and their parents) very disappointed when they dont make the teams they are trying out for and will have to go back to a GA team. Just make the best out of the situation and dominate where you are. This whole thing is bananas!!

There's really only 2 age groups, definitely 1 where given the current landscape you should be playing ECNL. The younger girls have plenty of time, and realistically as long as you're playing for a good team your child will be seen if they want to play in college. The rest of it is just alot of parent noise, especially noise from parents whose kid is probably never going to play D1 anyways.

Until more and more clubs realize they need to move to MLSN to keep their offering competitive. A couple years from now ENCL could be much less relevant than it is today. So in my opinion, if you are younger, I'd wait to see how things play out.

unfortunately based on interest of MLSNext. Boys side drives money. ECNL is going the way of Dodo in NOVa region. You cant only have ECNL girls. And even legacy clubs with both have been told to give up one or else. So GA unfortunately in NOVA will soon be only option.

Just not true but keep drinking the juice. FCV proved there can always be a competitive alternative. Maybe it will be just VDA playing a national schedule as the lone ECNL badge in NoVA. There will be plenty of girls interested in that. The rest will play GA is my prediction so everyone will be just fine.
