If the NVA teams stay together they can form strong teams do well in GA which also gets the same exposure as ECNL.
some of “the rest” are going to other GA teams for shorter commutes and teammates. Nothing is for certain. Older girls also may hear back from Arlington.

2011-13 offers seem to be be out from the chatter about Arlington. Anyone with older DD's heard anything yet?

ARL or NVA?

Both, everyone, offers have been going out at all clubs over the past week

Curious to see how many players from ARL and VDA show up at NVA MLS tryouts.

People really need to stop saying this. GA teams will not get the same exposure as in ECNL. It depends on the GA team. The Champions Cup teams, sure, they get a lot of exposure and similar to ECNL. The other GA teams....nowhere near as much.

When people say GA gets the same exposure they are talking about the Showcases and other National events. Just cause you play ECNL doesn't automatically mean you get exposure. Scouts aren't coming to watch your one off games just because you're in ECNL, and if there is a team out there that happens to It's because they are HIGHLY ranked and also in the national events. How many scouts are really coming to watch the 0-10-1 team at the bottom of the conference, just because they're in ECNL.

It's even worse in GA. They are only watching the best teams in GA, which are few and far between....

Any thoughts on if it’s better to be a top GA team in Champions cup or a mid level ECNL team in the Showcase cup at ECNL playoffs

Why does NVA think they will dominate the GA. They couldn’t compete at national ecnl events. The GA National events, just like ECNL events are filled with top 50 club teams. As you advance you compete against top 25 club teams. Some of the top ga clubs are top ten in the USA. Don’t expect your kick and run style will get you anywhere further than you went before. Apparently, none of the Loudoun ECNL regional league players were invited back to NVA tryouts. Also, ga refs call fouls so the ECNL bully style play doesn’t work in ga.

Actually NVA did the right thing. Why would they fill a quality ECNL team with RL just because they switched to GA (no offense to RL)? They are expecting to lose some players but they are also adding GA players to the ECNL mix. That is a formula for dominating GA . Time will tell.

Don’t know what year tryout you are talking about, but there was not 10+ at any event I attended and I attended FVU and VDA. I think you are full of it and are playing the troll. At least be specific to the year so we can call you out on your BS. Or better yet, shut it, and let the teen age kids do their thing without you calling them out on it. Are you an adult, because this is not adult behavior.

Everyone is free to go to any tryouts. Does not mean they will all get in or they all want to go. It is like Black Friday for the kids.

RL false promise? Go to McLean. They are good at placing RL players in their GA team. They kept the promise and they care about development. The only caveat is the team will be at the bottom next season but who cares, it is development.
