How can anyone continue to be surprised when people who make a living showing off their family and "internal" lives break up? IME people like this have issues with intimacy anyway.

Brandon posted a photo with a horse he is trying to tame. His profile used to say something about supporting the underdog, but no longer does. Until otherwise proven guilty, I have empathy for him. It's hard when your wife is miss popularity superstar who everybody loooooooooves because everyone just aqssumes sweet, down to earth Jen must be completely innocent and he is the villain. People don't understand that some people are really good at creating a public persona and there is a chance that same person is very different in private.

Agree. When I first met them and went to their church when it was first getting started, they were more or less the same in terms of their celebrity status. She had a book out I think and did some speaking engagements, but she wasn’t “famous”. Then she just took off. I remember tracking her followers on Facebook- Her followers we’re growing exponentially, his hovered around the same amount of followers. His book wasn’t quite as popular as hers would be. She just went stratosphere in terms of online presence. I think her celebrity status Is definitely a factor, but not the only reason of the breakup. Maybe he had an issue with her being the big bread winner I imagine they jumped up a tax bracket or two.

Ha. I really doubt it. He’ll be fine— he’s a big bad biker, loner type now—- which is totally a front if you ask me (although no one is). He totally went from preppy guy to biker dude and I went from a couple of tats to all inked up with the garb and everything.

He may be into some drugs and kink. There is a thing in Central Texas right now with umc white guys getting into it.

Also she drives me crazy. Asking for privacy and then seeking external validation by continuing to post about it.

Reconcile it with wha? All we know is they are getting divorced. We know nothing about why? Do you?

My friends that are still in Austin said that Brandon had been struggling ever since his accident that killed his friend. He really stopped going to church unless Jen was preaching and closed off.

Wow. I used to go to their church and keep up with some of the staff. I had no idea that Brandon was in an accident. Are you referring to the member of the Grim Guardians Motorcycle Club member who had a bad wreck during the ROT rally in June of 2017? Was Brandon in that accident too? Or are you referring to something else.

I heard it was a golf cart or something... he was driving his friend was badly injured and died from related injuries.

Yes, she will pull a Glenon Doyle...though Glenon's story changed....she was the victim of a sex addict husband....to she left him and then found Abby....but some time line sleuthing implied she was twitter stalking or social media stalking Abby for a while and then Craig was lauded as the best father ever and then they all came together in love and modern family-dom...and well I was confused. Curious to see how Jen spins this and winds the father of her children into her web.

Agreed. 99 percent of the time, this is a middle aged guy who feels threatened by something or has regrets or insecurities and puts on this biker bro persona that cannot be taken seriously -- these types are never truly tough, never, no matter how many tattoos or social media photos of cracking open a beer after skydiving etc

Jen was super upset by something in April on a video. She called it a hard marriage day or something. My bet is that is when Brandon had an affair, and now a pregnancy is eminent. He chose new baby mama.

She’s in CO with her two older kids and the two adopted ones are virtual schooling back in Texas. Because there’s no internet in Colorado.

1) Are they with their Dad? If yes, then what happened couldn’t have been bad enough that he isn’t trusted with/lost custody or
2) They’re with family and Dad really has up and left.
