I'm sorry I just can't consider these people "rich" when their houses are open to tourists. I get that they are still extremely wealthy by any reasonable standard, but all the gossip-worthiness and fun aesthetics are from another time and a much more unreasonable standard. This guy's main contribution seems to have been selling what was left of the art and marrying his embarrassingly young pregnant girlfriend who was a "model" kind of model.
Breeding your own albino deer herd is cool. Selling antiques to maintain it so you can sell tickets to tourists to see them isn't cool. That this title especially is hereditary is so tragic because of the stuff about the coronation day and dressing and giving the monarch water and whatnot. If you're going to have a position like that it should be based on merit. Imagine if it was Elton John! Fabulous. |

Rose looks like a standard overtanned, anorexic socialite. She'll look like a senior citizen at 40. Fortunately, her cagily chosen husband will by then be too exhausted in the evenings to go looking for a younger model. The fact that her first two kids are boys will cement her place in the household for decades to come as the mother of the heir. She'll spend years as a wealthy widow. Who would trade that for the fishbowl?
Hilariously, the twins were born four months after the wedding. Under the wire, but good enough for the College of Heralds to give the oldest the title. |

Yes definitely. They got married quite a while ago, that whole thing is settled. But yes they announced their engagement one day and got married the next day. Her twins were premature. |

In my twitter searching I ended up finding pics of Carol with Lord Cholmondeley. And rose was there, walking with Kate & Will’s friends, and then the Middletons were standing next to her.

Makes sense - her being with the Middletons. That was Kate's best friend until she suddenly and inexplicably tried to banish her in 2019. Looks like Carole is laughing with her in a few photos.
