They both look good in their own way, and it largely has to do with their body type, so it's not as if a dress change would fix anything. Rose has an elongated frame, and this will always make her look elegant, provided she doesn't stoop. Kate has a lovely figure, and I think she looks handsome, but nothing about her is striking. This is a good look for a future Queen - she looks like Everywoman (only better looking than average).

I’d say Rose has that Carolyn Bessette Kennedy elegance about her. The dress isn’t wearing her, she’s the focus and it’s gorgrous. She was born to wealth and blue bloods - the regal air without the tiara is incredible.

Same here. But I’ve noticed that her looks that I admire the most tend to be for informal occasions - daytime sporting events or celebrations. All of Kate’s big fashion fails are for formal evening attire. She simply does not have the same instinct for formal wear and her stylists are not helping. This white dress is not a good look on her, the blue dress was just as bad. It’s becoming a trend.
