That is correct. Thank you for clarifying. Continue to make yourself feel better bashing other posters. Fun ain’t it.

Okay, let's try this:

Could you please point out ANY Red team coached by Tupy or Pepe, even as a co-coach?

SYC 19/20 Coaching Slate
2009-2003 Boys Blue have 2 coaches assigned

My point was that LMVSC might be doing the same. Why the f is that so far from imagination.

Why bother.

So, no red teams at LMVSC have Pepe or Tupy as coaches next year.

Why bother answering a question about LMVSC, in the LMVSC thread, when you can talk about SYC?

What specific chaos has affected your team/player? It just seems people here want to sling wild accusations with little substance.

Oh, ok, I owe you an explanation or I’m a “Pepette?” Yeah, sure.

Did you go to the meetings, where Lula talked about how they’re going to *change everything*? Caring about the blue teams as anything more than cash would be a good start.

I think that's a real issue that's been at the club. My question is do you think that was a directive of Lula's, to not focus on the blue and white teams? Or was that on Este to establish the culture as the td? It seems like people want to blame Lula for everything and put none of the blame on the staff. Lula is coaching 2 white teams next year. Este has grabbed his friends, no matter the qualifications, and put them all on the top teams at SYC. To me, that speaks volumes as to where the issue came from.

Sorry but that has always been the culture at the Club. The only thing that Este did during his 3yrs as Director was to bring outside recognition on top level coaching. You call the staff that will be leaving the club "Este's friends", you are forgetting these so call friends were hired by Lula who has always spoken very highly of them.

Why are you so hurt by their departures??? Move on!

By the way, every year at every meeting the staff talks about all the GREAT changes happening or new things coming but the truth is Blue will always be Blue. White will always be White.

Unless there are two red teams and white is the new blue

They are decent coaches, sure. And when they work for you, of course you will speak highly of them. Seriously, why would she speak lowly of them whilst at the club?

But, if these guys are truly so great, why are they messing around with such inconsequential clubs?

Shouldn't at least one of the nearby, coveted DA clubs be knocking down their doors?

That is...if they really are so great?

To read the opinions of some of you crazy soccer parents, it's either DA or ECNL...the rest is crap.

There is a big difference between the levels of play.

That said, I don't think that comparison has any place in the discussion of LMVSC coaches and it certainly does not speak to the quality of LMVSC coaches.

Coaches follow friends, money, titles, etc. Leagues, not so much. Look at some of the DA coaches at Arlington or ecnl at BRYC, are they really better? Answer is a big fat NO, they have more success because they have more recruited skilled players. You guys idolize these coaches way too much. At the end of the day they are all youth coaches. Think about this, is a 6th grade science teacher a NASA scientist?

Exactly. The majority of "strong teams" have been built by recruiting from other clubs, not so much by pure development.

Anyone is replaceable.

Lets see if the clubs reputation is replaceable after this forum. Try outs will speak volumes right?

Are you referring to tryouts in regards to the number of players that attend and/or the quality of players? I would see that being a measurement of success, meaning if all your skilled players leave to play for another club...cant be good.
