OK, then go read the multiple studies published during tax reform, saying that 60-70% people would pay less, 30% the same, 6-10% more.

Most taxpayers received more money back on their monthly pay. So, naturally, their refund could be less. This is true for my family. We had approximately $400 more each month AND this year we get a refund.... we haven't had a refund for years.

Well, considering I used to be a R, yes, I was concerned. But I also understood that we were coming out of a very expensive war, started by a R (Bush), who actually was the reason I left the R party.

Rs these days seem to have turned their backs on their concerns over the national debt.

and the tax cuts have made it worse. Rs said that it would create jobs and increase wages, thereby making up the difference or the lost in revenue. I think one R called it a "hope and prayer" strategy. They were warned that it would balloon the deficit, but decided they would believe in voodoo economics rather than historical evidence.

Welp, I had to withhold more because of the tax law and my refund was less. Please do tell how I paid less in taxes.
