Feedback on Next Level Lacrosse?

Are there any college commits for Next Level 2019 or 2020?
Anonymous
The 2019s had several college commits between D1 and D3. I think around 8 to 10 total, but not a lot to top tier-D1 programs.

2020s will have a larger number of commits. For the 2020s, first real contacts started Sept. 1, so will take a while for decisions for this class. But this is probably one of the top 10 teams in the country and NL's best team, so there will likely be much higher level of commitments from this class compared with the 2019s both in terms of numbers and commitments to top tier D1 teams.

Wow. 8 or so commits for 2019. Damn impressive. They need to better advertise that fact. Madlax and VLC do.

Did anyone from DCE defect to NL this year?

8 is not not impressive. Madlax and VLC have way more.

To be sure, Madlax and VLC 2019 had impressive hauls for their recruits, I think the NL 2019 and 2020 (and likely will be the same for DCE 2021) teams are showing is that you can get recruited from other programs too if for whatever reason you prefer to play NL rather than Madlax/VLC. Madlax and VLC often have the best players, so they end up with the most recruits. NL 2020 will be an interesting test case. They have a lot of very highly regarded players (a couple Inside Lacrosse 100 players and players who are impact players for Gonzaga, Bullis, Landon, etc.). DCE 2021 will be in a similar position. If recruiting for those teams falter, there will be a stronger case that Madlax and VLC have some kind of special recruiting sauce as opposed to relying on the fact that the strongest players often go there.

There are very few other clubs in the country that can boast of such numbers. I think we get jaded because we are in a hotbed area. Yes, Madlax and VLC have off-the charts numbers where the majority of their players will end up playing in college. But that should not take away from the success of NL.

Please post the link(s) where we can find this information. I did a quick google search but didn't have much luck.

Who cares about them? What are you, about 12 years old? Everyone knows and is thoroughly impressed by those other clubs but Next Level is getting better since the Mitchell's took over and have placed greater emphasis on the teams. I don't know about VLC but I would never want to be the parent of a ML kid and constantly have to justify why my kid is playing for that owner.

+1.

The Mitchells should be comforted by the fact that anonymous posters are taking pot shots at them. It's a sign that Next Level is getting better, the competition is starting to notice, and they are even starting to break into a sweat about it.

Oh, and I'd say that the PP wasn't a 12 year old. The owner of that club you referenced has to be at least 45. LOL.

Did the 2020 team remain intact? Did anyone defect? Any strong pickups? No names plz.

I looked at what someone posted earlier on last year's roster and then looked at this year's roster posted on their site. It appears 4-5 new kids joined and the same either didn't come back or didn't make it. I couldn't tell you if it was an improvement or not.

It is a serious issue. They refuse to hire more coaches because the brothers are trying to maximize profits.
