When you rank them from 1-4500 it’s pretty inaccurate. USNEWS now ranks several in the same position because the US is large and many regionals are equal. Also Cornell has an international ranking in the hard sciences. Don’t know why you think it’s such a lesser Ivy.

How’ve does Columbia manipulate? Doesn't pass the smell test. It’s the only ivy that didn’t discriminate against Jews. It’s not the type that cares about what everyone else does.

CalTech is a one trick pony, similar to JHU. It’s correctly ranked along JHU.

Columbia is #2, tied with H and M. Y is #5, pushing S to #6.
If C were the bottom, Y and S don’t even make the list.

CalTech is a one trick pony, similar to JHU. It’s correctly ranked along JHU.
