Funny when the schools graduation rate and SAT scores are among the lowest in MoCo, your kid demographics must be propped up by the smarter Magnet kids bused in.

I want to go to Einstein and be a low income artist or performer!
Whats wrong with that? I rather keep my child at Einstein where he's introduce to diversity and a creative mindset than a W school where parents approve of underage drinking.

Private school

The only reason any one school is better over the other is parents investing their money on tutors and test prep. Basically the kids doing well were mostly home schooled all of their lives. The teachers in Wootton and Kennedy could switch and it would be the same thing outcome.

Exactly. Pull those magnet kids out, and the school is a disaster. Same with RM

Funny how clueless and ignorant you are. I'm pretty sure your kid would give a limb to be "bused in " to Blair . Unfortunately, he/she got your genes so smart enough to be admitted to Blair.

Pull the those magnet kids, the school would be the same. This has been debunked too many times in here, but ya'll W parents are too obsessed with Blair.

Because JWMS is such a disaster? GS rated 8. LOL

There are lawyers, doctors, scientists, IT professionals who send their kids to RM. Shocking, I know.

You need to say something new. Your “JW” post is really getting old. Jw is not a life saver for RM. I know it must be hard to believe to you.

Not a W parent but you don't think the SES and test numbers would drop if you pulled the Magnet kids out? That seems naive

It's old because it's been that way for years. You need to get a life or out of your bubble if you think RM cluster is disaster. RM cluster consists of a wide variety of families, including doctors, lawyers and scientists. I guess those people are just clueless about how RM is such a disaster.

+1. If your kid is stupid, being with smart kids won’t do your kid much good. LOL

WHy would it be a disaster? If everything else is the same (classes, curriculum, clubs, teachers, etc.) minus the magnet kids, then all that would change are the test scores. So are we saying that test scores determine whether the school is good or not?

My magnet kid and many of his magnet friends walk to Blair. No bus needed.

NP. Test scores dropping and a school becoming a "disaster" are two different things. We picked RM when we moved into MoCo because we liked the area feeding into the school; ethnic/SES diversity was a high priority for us.
