I’d be very happy with one of the W-schools, BCC, PHS, or one of the Magnet programs or even QO. Rest, sadly, are no better than PG schools.

You meant to say that the "worst " of MCPS are better than all PGCPS, except for one.
Sadly that is the truth!

Maybe your kid can only thrive in the schools you mentioned but many of us have kids who can be successful or are already successful in many others such as Northwest,Sherwood, Clarksburg, Damascus, Rockville, and more. Stop the ignorance. Who made you an expert in PG county and MCPS schools?

PHS, BCC, Walter Johnson, Whitman - in that order.

No, not Churchill, Wootton, Blair or RM.

Whitman and Churchill... really... what's the difference except for the zip code?

+1 Part of me has always wondered at what point some of these folks decided their kids were too weak - academically or termperamentally - to handle an integrated school. Did they always know? Or did they hit early elementary and realize their child was just not going to cut it unless they were surrounded by snowplow/helicopter kids?

Agree, how could you not want Churchill? I can see why you wouldn't want the others LOL

DP.. I don't want Churchill, Wootton or Whitman. Too much wealth, and with that, wealthy school problems. Same for schools with too many low income students. These types of schools are opposite sides of the same coin.
