I've really enjoyed this thread OP, and here's another male perspective
this was a power play on his part. what's clear is that you aren't the first (or the last) one he's hit on. he know that you that you were totally into him - he probably has a high EQ and is pretty observant. He wanted you to tell him that you were really into him - obviously for the ego boost - so that we would be in the dominate position over you (figuratively speaking..and I suppose literally too if he got his way). what matters is what you want - if you want to bang this guy, then go after him but do so being the one completely in control. if you don't want a ONS or a fling (and there is nothing wrong with that at all), just turn your attention elsewhere and if (when) you run into hi next time, just carry a "I don't give a sh*t" attitude and see how much that drives him bonkers. |

OP, I'm the poster who suggested you be coy about being from Connecticut way back on page 1. I hadn't ready any of the follow ups and wondered why the thread got so big. I am really glad that it was 2 parts people giving advice, 2 parts people being excited and only 1 part pearl clutching.
I had a mail delivery guy at my old office who was like this. He actually worked for the company, though, so when the crush ran its course it was awkward because I still had to see him on the reg. I'm sorry TI Mailman has turned out to be a dud, but I think this is one of the best threads since the Bobcat girl. |
