| I loved Cameron on previous seasons, but on this one she's irritating! All too smug and the "drama" in her life is obviously fake. She doesn't add value otherwise, so they had to come up with something. Even her jokes aren't as funny. |

I believe Cameran doesn't want kids. What I don't get is why she married a guy who very much wants them. Did she assume he would change his mind, or that she would? (Or did he?) She REALLY does not seem to want them, which is totally okay, and I liked her mom's comments on that, but I wish there was more discussion about how that affects the marriage. It's sort of a dealbreaker thing. Someone who doesn't want them should not have them, but someone who really wants them shouldn't have to not have them.
Craig is just such a tool. BTW, my husband and I googled the South Carolina bar results and he did not take it. So even after sending off his application on the show, he evidently didn't bother with it. Such a douche. Kathryn was trying so hard to play it cool and get Thomas to marry her. Now she's saying they don't speak and he hasn't seen the kids since February. I really laughed when he dropped them off after coming home and left and Dawn the Nanny (God bless her) goes, "Just the two of us, in our domestic partnership." |
| Oh and Thomas saying on camera that daughters are a derivative and a son is who carries on your family name. So great for adult Kensie to see that one day and know her dad only slept with her mom in a desperate attempt to conceive a son since she wasn't good enough. |
I was thinking that too! Im surprised/not surprised he hasn't seen them since February. What a dick. |

I so hate watch every scene with Craig. I do not understand the mentality of people who get into law school, put themselves through three years of hell, and then don't take the bar exam. I get that it could be because of he reality thing, but it could also be some weird psychological thing. I graduated with a few people like this. I really think that ship has sailed for him, because taking the bar exam is much easier than starting out as a young lawyer, which takes tons of hard work and yes, some smarts. And oh yeah, probably does not pay too much at a small firm in Charleston. Inertia is huge in everything career-related.
Shep is smart but he can be such a doofus. He should cut his hair. Whitney is a gross metrosexual. T Rav is also smart and can be charming but appears to have substance abuse issues. I'm wondering if Cameran will change her mind once the clock really starts ticking? I wish my mom had been more supportive of me when I was in a similar boat. I loved the build-up to Landon's disastrous second meeting with the dude. You knew she was supposed to get the web site in place and not bring stupid print-outs! She's a disaster. I know there's a lot of vitriol with Kathryn, but all I can say is poor Kathryn. I think she'll grow up. |

Craig didn't take the bar because he doesn't want to work hard. He would have had to study to pass and then he would have had to work. It's apparent from watching him he has no interest in working hard -- he wants it all handed to him either by JD or some other person. The fact he's watching these episodes and has not clued in to what a lazy jerk he is, is pretty telling. His parents much cringe.
Whitney: I think he's trying to grow up, but he's on the wrong path if he thinks Larissa is the solution. I want to say to him, she's just not that into you. TRav: Ugh. He has moments when you think, you're not so bad, but then he goes and makes some jerky comment and then you think, nope, you really are that bad! Cameran: She hasn't come off well this season. Not sure I would say mean girl, but definitely borderline. I guess she needed a story line and they went with the no kids thing? I feel bad for her husband -- I think watching some of these scenes could really put him off. Maybe he doesn't watch? Landon: What a train wreck. It makes me physically uncomfortable to watch her. From how clueless she is about business to her emotional life. I sort of worry about her. Shep: His aw shucks routine is starting to wear thin. It's time for him to grow up a little. Kathryn: What can I say? She's still deceiving herself that TRav is going to pick her and the kids. He's not. |

I was like Cameron about the kid thing. Don't rush.
I got married at 28 (husband was 27) and everyone was pressuring us to start a family. Instead, we traveled like maniacs. DH started his own consulting business. I rose to be senior in my career. We saved tons of money and lived a glamorous life---living abroad, fancy dinners, parties. Two months before I turned 35---I questioned life and decided I was ready. I got knocked up on first try and was head over heels happy to be a mother. Got knocked up again on purpose 19 months later. People need to choose their own timetables. I have another friend that swore she never wanted kids all through her 30s--and then had her babies at 41 and 42. I was better off for waiting since I never feel like I missed a thing. I am 45 with a 10 and 8-year old and life is good. Never have a baby just to please your parents or societal pressure. Soul-search first. Go Cameron! |
I agree with you 100%! I think I just feel really bad for the husband since it seems like he really WANTS kids. I would think this would be something they would have discussed going into marriage so that is why I feel, on the show, it is more dramatic then it should be. I am sure she is scared, I am sure she will wait a couple more years, but I think the producers want to make a bigger deal out of it than it is. |
It's just her story line this season. I seriously doubt there is that much angst in reality. This is tv. |
| I thought it was very telling when Akim was busting Craig's balls about not wanting to be a lawyer and Craig said "I would love to be a lawyer tomorrow." Meaning, not do any of the work of studying for and taking the bar and having to find a job, but yeah, if I could just magically wake up AS a lawyer that would be cool." |
While watching her declare her love, I was shocked at how much older she looks than Shep: they went to college together and are the same age, but she looks a decade older, easily. I'm guessing she's a chain smoker? The stupid squinchy face gestures really emphasize her wrecked skin; she's like Tinkerbell in Gollum's body, and I felt a real moment of pity for her when she scrunched up her eyebrows and gazed up at him in a way that probably WAS winning and cute when she was a teen. Her dad seemed so reasonable; it's hard to believe he raised a daughter to end up like this. |
For all the Craig haters, if you want some real entertainment - check out his Instagram. He's currently traveling the world with his girlfriend, and so clearly thinks of himself as a big time celebrity. It's kind of sad, but entertaining. His life will be so empty when this show has run its course. Cameron's husband is a few years older than her, she has mentioned it. So I understanding him not wanting to wait much longer to have kids. Plus, she's something like 31 or 32, it's not like she's 25. |

Cameron - Despite some of the pettiness, I still really like her.
Shep - He's never going to grow up, but why should he if he's happy? As Cam said, he earns money "through his mailbox" and he's even referenced making money through investments. Good for him. Life is short. Do what makes you happy. Whitney - Something is off with him. I can't put my finger on what exactly, but he seems to be - deep down - a desperately unhappy person. I don't believe for a second that he and Larissa are really an actual thing. Landon - I just can't even go there, but agree with above PP that she is not aging well. Kathryn and Thomas- Thomas has been defending her all season. I do think that they love one another, and that at one point he would have married her. But her temperament is just so volatile. He took the news of her sleeping with Whitney like a champ so that obvioulsy doesn't really bother him. |
| The dinner episode is next. I. Can't. Wait. |
Agree with everything here except Shep. I wonder where he gets his self worth from. He doesn't do anything. |
