They are NEVER getting back on TV now. This new scandal dropped in the midst of negotiations with TLC about a show they wanted to do that "counseled" victims of child molestation. Now that their fabulous parenting methods basically raised a compulsive sex addict? No fucking way.

But it sounds like he kind of fessed up to it at the end of the article.

He's admitted now that he was unfaithful to his wife.

Yeah, but with whom? Female, male or transgender?

I've seen links with Josh's answers to questions from other users on the other hookup site where he had a profile - not Ashley Madison but OK Cupid I think? While it does not look like he was being picky otherwise, he was definitely trolling for females only.

Really? How awful. Glad that's not going to be made.

Who is the "rebel Duggar" referred to by the People cover?

My guess is Cousin Amy.

There was going to be an hour long special about abuse that two of his sisters were going to be part of, but certainly never a full series featuring the Duggars as counselors.

But don't we all wish they still had their show and the cameras caught everything about this new scandal? From Josh finding out he's been outed, to Jim Bob and Michelle finding out what their son did, to the conversation that happened to telling his siblings all about it?

Could have been TLC's highest rated episode ever.

I would gladly watch a Duggar tv show that showed all their hypocrisies coming to light.

I would love to see a tv show where a child psychologist took Michele and JimBob to task and explained why their parenting techniques were harmful and led Josh to his doom. The repressed sexuality, the lack of learned independence.......

Watch him come up with some "I was corrupted by big city life and liberal urban temptations" or some crap.

I guess all of their (Jim Bob and Michelle's) preaching etc. didn't get through to Josh.

How does that explain the account at his grandma's before the DC stint?

Yeah, I guess it will be hard for them to preach about how they raise their kids now in a Christian way because if that's the kind of kid their parenting turns out I don't think anyone should be following it.

I don't think he should have bothered with a statement. I think they did it in hopes of preserving a chance for media deals in the future. The better thing to do would have been for Josh to say nothing and for the whole family - Jessa, Jill - etc to take a Internet break for a very long time. Start living their own lives and focus on their own families.

I would so love to be a fly on the wall in that house this week. Since they all need the money now, someone should be recording and selling the goods to a tabloid. Perhaps that would finally free Jinger. Or Jana.

When it comes to reality and what would be best for the grown daughters, and the rest of the children once they have their own lives, I agree that taking a break from anything to do with the media would be a good idea. They should let this fizzle out on its own and just try to live their normal lives. Hopefully they have a bit saved up, if not, them girls are going to have to start working.

My first thought was Jinger but I think you're probably right. Amy is the known rebel, Jinger is the one who everyone thinks may rebel in the future (she wore pants once!!)
