Where do most Blessed Sacrament parishoners belong? |
I'm guessing Columbia. |
We have been checking out country clubs in the Fairfax area. We are looking for a family friendly place, not stuffy and nice tennis and workout facilities. So far, Springfield Golf and Country Club is looking like a great place for us. BEAUTIFUL new indoor tennis facility with work out room. They have some great adult and kid activities and the membership seems down to earth. |
Kenwood on par with Congressional, Columbia or Chevy Chase??? Ha ha ha. |
Columbia and Chevy Chase club too. Chevy chase tends to be the legacy families. |
If you were in "skull and Bones, ( must leave whenever "skull" is used {members of this secet society have never seen Macbeth in its entirety); Porcellian (must retire for a year and meditate, which probably never happens as how many times in the course of normal conversation have you ever heard anyone say "Porcellian?; Cap and Gown or Tiger -- the only Ivy League without a Law School (could some of the others follow this example?)--I don't know, but, considering how often "Tiger" has been said since November 2009, one can only hope it isn't too drastic. If one is a member of any of the above they're already 3rd or 4th generation legacy. I recommend the Mint Juleps at Chevy Chase. |
PP, huh??? Please share whatever you are taking . . . ![]() I just joined Congressional and am not a legacy, am not important and do not have tons of cash. We just applied, waited a few years, and paid our 110K. |
Nothing. I don't need to because these "Country Club" questions and replies have given me the best laughs I've had in the past week. I've added this site to my Bookmarks. |
OK PP. I get it. Please don't hold out on me, though. You are taking some good Sh*&. Can we be friends?! |
Absolutely. |
12:49 - There is a distinction between CLASS and money. Class is how one treats others. I have yet to see class in the D.C. area. |
Thanks for the insight, Mrs. Madoff. I find rich people to be oblivious assholes. |
Sorry, but no. It's: Congressional, Chevy Chase Club and Kenwood. then Burning Tree, if you're really a full blown anti-semite. |
FAHE's cannot one cannot see what FAHE's do not possess. The neuveau riche so often serve as a source of amusement and bemusement. You do not disappoint. Pray give us, the great unwashed, your defiition of "class." |
Part of having class is being able to spell, unlike you. |
