Why can't Obama produce a birth certificate?

Anonymous
20:52 - your statement is ridiculous. He has released his birth certificate.

I don't know who paid for any President's schooling. Who cares?

What did he spend it on?

What did he spend it on?

Bribing that Republican governor and all the other Hawaiian officials who vouched for his birth?

BTW, for all those who would like to see Arnold run, why not ask for proof that he was not born here. Perhaps the whole Austria story is a plot to deny him the presidency.

Ah, I see. You are so sure that it is true that you have repeatedly posted this. Yet you do not know where this money has supposedly gone.

More like RTFM. He got a scholarship. That was covered way back in 2008. Are you airbrushing history again? How retro-Stalin of you.

Depending on when you are born and how long your parent lived in the US, you can still be born as a US citizen abroad and run for president. The rule about being born on US soil applies to people who are born overseas and then are naturalized. Otherwise, children born to US citizens in the armed forces in bases overseas wouldn't be able to run for president.

This is me. I was born abroad, but am a US citizen because my parents were citizens (dad was in the foreign service). I have a certificate of citizenship, but no US birth certificate. So unless the birthers are now arguing that his mom wasn't a citizen too, their argument doesn't make any sense.

really, who cares? isn't this a moot point?

ummmm, is this Kenya?

Can someone define what a "long form" birth certificate is? Their is zero record of that term ever appearing on the internet before the birther nonsense started.

It's not sufficient to even get a social security number, much less be President. he needs to produce his original, signed, birth certificate to be on the ballot in Iowa and Arizona next election, or Sue to keep it secret.

That's apparently not going to be the case in Arizona. And if Jan Brewer can't get on board with the legislation - she called it "a bridge too far" - you really have to wonder just how far from the pack have you strayed.

I thought that, even if Obama was born abroad, he would be an American citizen because his mother is an American citizen. Aren't children of American citizens automatically American citizens?
