Same demographics as you and couldn’t agree more. The left seems to think politics is this hill they have to die on… every single day, over and over again, with everything. Lol as evidenced by this entire site. It’s too bad for them.

Hey guess what, people get to be ridiculous.

Nobody needs to be targeting Bargatze -- the information is out there, everywhere, right now. people can make their own choices.

But his supporters think he deserves to be protected from viewers making their own choices, like a charity case. Telling people they are dumb, that Bargatze is laughing at them and doesn't need them, but they'd better watch a comedy show against their own wishes is just peek ridiculous.

Let's see how that works out for y'all. I'll wait.

Chappelle fans understood the work of a comedian when the PC police tried to cancel him a few years ago and he is still successfully getting laughs and selling out anything he does. Comedy is comedy and comedians don't align well as targets for cancel culture because the cancel culturalists aren't the ones appreciating good comedy in the first place.

But the issue for Chapelle was the edginess of his comedy. Plenty of people respect and support pushing comedy boundaries.

Bargatze's issue is that he wanted to be at THIS White House, to watch an MMA fight because seeing it on video wasn't enough. That has nothing to do with the edginess of his comedy. You can't ride on Chapelle's coattails. He's no Chapelle.

He isn't on Chappelle's level as comedian but the PC cancel culture police cared a lot more about Dave's belittling jokes about minorities and the LBGTQ community than they will about Nate attending a fight at The White House and giving RFK Jr. a photo op. The proposed cancelling of Dave lasted a few months. The proposed cancelling of Nate may last a few weeks. The PC police won't win and I'm okay with that.

Okay. You can just let it sort itself out then, instead of belaboring how much it is okay.

What you think is okay and what the vast majority of people think are okay are apparently two different things. I don't think comedians need to operate within boundaries. 97% of us won't cancel and condemn the Eagles players who visited Trump's White House, we won't cancel or condemn Knicks players who will visit Trump's White House, and we won't cancel or condemn Bargatze for attending a professional fight at Trump's White House. You do you but the normal people who make up the vast majority of us will keep people who shouldn't be canceled from getting canceled. Trump is the only one of all these folks mentioned who should be canceled. Maybe we can agree on that.

Yes, that was stated. Bargatze couldn't get away with what Dave gets away with. Few comedians ever could.

You have a real victim by proxy mentality going there.

Almost nobody her is talking about "cancelling" or "condemning" Bargatze. I'm just not interested in spending time with him in my head, and I'm unlikely to put that aside to be able to laugh at jokes.

Several of his supporters here seem to be getting off on both presenting Bargatze as insulting people as dumb and not anything he needs or cares about, and berating them for not being interested in him. I don't think that's a strategy his PR team would sign off on. More importantly, it's a weird cognitive dissonance.

You're correct; if you don't like comedy, Bargatze or any other comedian shouldn't be in your head. They will only provoke and offend you.

By the way, Comedians don't have "supporters" and they aren't looking for "support". They have fans and they are looking for laughs.

You won't and a few other thousand goofball low IQ Americans who tried to cancel Dave won't either but the rest of us normal folk won't hesitate to collect the laughs we need from a good comedian. It takes more than 3k boring goofballs to cancel a good comedian. Sorry. You lose.

Sure, "fan" that doesn't support the person he is a fan of. Like that makes sense.

How about you insult people some more. I'm sure that's the take Bargatze wants his fans to go with online.

Once again, Bargatze isn't being cancelled for his comedy. His comedy isn't the problem. He isn't riding on the coattails of better comedians who do edgier comedy just because people are icked by what he does in his personal life.

Are all non-supporting Bargatze superfans this dense? That would explain a lot.

You guys are not real thinkers, are you?

Comedians are looking for financial support, and people aren’t going to support the second rate ones that go to pedo parties.

You won't and a few other thousand goofball low IQ Americans who tried to cancel Dave won't either but the rest of us normal folk won't hesitate to collect the laughs we need from a good comedian. It takes more than 3k boring goofballs to cancel a good comedian. Sorry. You lose.

I'll be amused to revisit this thread at the end of the year. See you there, PP.

True, I did notice a huge decline in Eagles home football ticket sales this past season after their visit to The White House. I didn't draft any of their players on my fantasy team for that reason either. See, we're smart like that. PP is dumb.

I was reading through beating that he’s taking on social media and apparently he worked at a place called LifeWay, the owner and publisher of the curriculum for the Christian Nationalist group LifeWise, targeting elementary school students.

It’s surprising me less and less that he was there.
