I enjoy people -- artists as well as friends and acquaintances -- of all types. But most people are good people deserving of respect.

Nate Bargatze has excellent delivery. His SNL stuff is terrific.

But it is baffling why celebrities associate with Trump in 2026. They all know the blowback will be fierce and career-changing. Only true believers like Kid Rock or Ted Nugent go there. And are willing to enter the right wing ghetto and spend a lifetime there.

As a comedian, Bargatze plays off the complexity and layers of a situation and people. I find it nearly impossible to believe he was not aware of the nuances and implications, yet he opted to attend.

I think there were some UFC attendees (likely young and not well developed critical thinking skills) who are oblivious to the politics and implications; NB is not one of them.

I have enjoyed his work in the past, I'm not going to crusade against him, but I can't imagine looking forward to spending time watching him in the future -- and I see no moral obligation to force myself to do something I don't want to do for the sake of propping up a comedian. That's not what the job is about.

I have no problem with normal republicans and in fact used to vote republican. Anyone who supports this disgusting trash administration is something else entirely. I bet he isn’t invited back to SNL anytime soon.

Enjoy whatever comedians you want. If supporting Trump interferes with someone's enjoyment of a comedian or entertainer or singer or a product, so be it. If you think that's ridiculous, that's about you. It doesn't change what someone else's chooses for entertainment?.

PP here. Just know that I'm definitely not a Trump supporter or MAGA and I'm pretty liberal on social issues. I just think social media is ruining many cultural events. In the past, we enjoyed entertainers for their talent and skills.
