Yes, we’ve known this since the Signal chat leak. He’s going to invade Greenland, per his comments on Monday.

And much like Musk. Who elected Miller?

Nobody, but MAGA doesn’t care despite their ballyhooing about Sleepy Joe.

Steven Miller is evil incarnate.

And his wife is no better. Now she’s weighing in on political matters. Apparently, she is as big of an attention who** as he is.

I'm the PP. I just perused Katie Miller's X posts for the first time. She's even worse than I previously thought! Most of her posts are political and amplify the MAGA party line. The rest are straight up racist or against people with alternative sexualities/gender identities. These two are just petty.

Can't disagree with the first, as much as I hate the Millers. Rapunzel is German, just like Moana is Polynesian, and Pocohontas is a Native American.

Yes, we all know culturally sensitive casting is vitally important in this tale of a girl with long hair, sold by her starving father to a crazy lady, and who is trapped in a tower by said crazy lady to keep her away from other people including a fine young prince who wants to make this girl a queen.

You know what? That is totally something a white lady would do. Carry on.

It’s a German story, based primarily on what evolved into western myths, cultural tropes, and traditions. So it deserves some respect, if people want to call it Rapunzel. And set it in a European fairy tale setting. Yes, that is what I believe. If you don’t, whatever.

Actually, it’s a German story based on a French story that drew on an Italian story. Was no such thing as “Germany” until recent times.

But yes, it certainly does reflect some of the dysfunctional “cultural traditions” regarding women that were embraced by Europeans, like selling female children and locking them up to “protect” them. And the whole trope about single women being ugly witches.

White people can keep this one.

I like Mr Miller. Anti-h1b and consistently anti-h1b.

Could never have predicted that Democrats have abandoned US workers to grovel for big corporations.

Trump abandoned US workers. He stopped everify (quietly!) in his first term because his companies weren't using it and he did nothing for H1B. He just gave special status to Chinese students. And big corporations literally bought Trump the US presidency and a ballroom and an airplane and on...

How anyone can say what you did with a straight face?!?!

They simply can't tell the difference between truth and lies anymore. They just repeat what they are told.

Most scholars understand that Rapunzel is actually a warning against excessive parental control rather than some sort of supporting propaganda.

The good thing is that Miller and his disgusting wife get heckled everywhere they go.

You all realize that Miller is the evil mastermind behind the impending fascist regime? It’s happening. Enjoy your stupid cult, MAGA.

Can you actually make a solid argument how the GOP hasn’t abandoned workers in favor of foreign labor?

It's pointless to engage...MAGA has their head in the sand. You could give them a mountain of receipts and they're bury them without looking.

True. We believe in due process and that murdering US citizens by any law enforcement should be investigated by the state and local police not the lying FBI DOJ, ICE, DHS neo neo-nazi trump goons.

This article, which was on the front page of the WJ the day it published, is a BIG DEAL. I think the knives are coming out for Stephen Miller. The article is very comprehensive and quotes multiple unnamed sources at the WH. Clearly, a number of people who are talking to the press don't approve of what Miller is doing.

Here's a quick list of all the ways that Miller has developed and steered WH policy or has manipulated Trump to get him to support Miller's approach, which is usually more draconian than anyone else's. Some of us have commented before that he is the real president--this just proves it. At this point, Trump is just a figurehead.

Framing of Pretti shooting
Within minutes of the Pretti shooting, CBP officials texted Miller to let him know what happened [interesting that he was the one that was contact ASAP, and not Noem]. "Three hours after the shooting, Miller told the world via X that the slain VA nurse was a 'domestic terrorist' who had 'tried to assassinate federal law enforcement,' a description that set off one of the Trump administration’s biggest political crises of the president’s second term."

Raised idea of invoking Insurrection Act in MN
"When protests spread in Minneapolis, Miller raised the idea of the president invoking the Insurrection Act to send in military troops, a possibility that Trump later voiced publicly, according to White House officials familiar with the matter."

After Good shooting, advocated for increasing number of ICE/CBP officers
"After immigration agents fatally shot Renee Good in early January, senior officials from the White House and Department of Homeland Security discussed whether to continue the operation in Minneapolis, according to officials familiar with the discussions. Miller said even more officers should be deployed, a White House official said, both to continue raids and protect agents conducting them. Miller reminded the president of their original goal in the city: an immigration crackdown related to welfare fraud by Somali migrants."

He writes the EOs
"He personally drafted or edited every executive order the president signed, and faced little opposition from administration officials to his work to reshape immigration policy.'

He's behind idea to blow up drug boats and deport migrants to CECOT
"Miller helped come up with the idea to blow up drug boats, officials said, and to deport migrants to a prison in El Salvador using the wartime Alien Enemies Act, an action now under court challenge."

He's behind ICE arrest quotas, $50,000 signing bonus, and workplace raids
*"Miller urged the agents to “just go out there and arrest illegal aliens,” without bothering with targeted lists, according to people familiar with the meeting. Miller’s comments marked the start of a more aggressive enforcement campaign focused on progressive, Democratic Party-led cities."
*"He demanded 3,000 arrests a day—a number deemed unrealistic by many federal agents—and came up with the idea of offering recruitment bonuses as high as $50,000 for thousands of new ICE agents."
*"Miller pushed for sweeps at Home Depot and other spots where day workers gather, though Trump has at times been asked to temper raids at businesses."
*"Following immigration arrests in September by federal agents at a Hyundai Motor factory in Georgia, Republican Gov. Brian Kemp called the president and asked for the release of 300 South Korean workers, according to administration officials. The president publicly said he opposed the raid and told Kemp privately that he didn’t know it was happening. He told aides repeatedly that he didn’t want any more sweeps at factories or farms, the officials said. Even after Trump signaled his displeasure, Miller continued to argue for large raids, according to people familiar with the discussions. He wanted the administration to surpass the 400,000 deportations tallied in 2014 under former President Barack Obama."

He doesn't leave a paper/electronic trail of his communications
"Miller rarely leaves a written trail of his orders, using Signal, an encrypted voice and text-messaging app, to communicate."

He "manages" the president
"His authority, officials said, derives from his ability to manage the president."
*Example of how he "managed" Trump into bringing the NG into DC: "He often uses gory images to persuade Trump. After a Department of Government Efficiency staffer, Edward Coristine, also known as “Big Balls,” was beaten in an attempted carjacking last summer, Miller brought the president a large photo of the bloodied man and told him that crime in Washington was climbing. Trump soon posted the photo himself on social media, and deployed the National Guard, saying it was necessary to make the city safe."

After killing of Charlie Kirk, he:
*was behind EO "targeting liberal groups he said were promoting political violence
*pushed Treasury Dep. officials to target liberal groups by investigating their financing the same was foreign terrorist organizations were investigated after 9/11 attacks

He commented on foreign policy issues on TV, without prior approval from Trump
*boasted on CNN that the U.S. could pursue Trump’s ambitions to control the Arctic with an invasion
*talked about Venezuela, prompting Trump to ask aides why Miller was speaking. “He doesn’t do foreign policy,” Trump said, according to a senior administration official.

None of this is new. We all know this. Maybe it wasn’t written done but it’s been clear from the start who is in charge. Did y’all forget Signalgate?

Trump is a dottering, old man who 💩his pants and doesn’t know what time it is.

If Trump knew that his positive rating would increase by 40 point if he dumped Miller do you think he would do it?

Never. Dumping Miller would be an admission that he hired the wrong person. It's the same reason Hegseth and Noem still have jobs.

We have known every one of these items since they took place. Many of us have been yelling that Miller (and Vought) are the "worst of the worst" since early last year. Why would anything change now? I don't know what power Miller has over Trump. It may just be that he is intelligent and Trump is supremely ignorant and lazy and has no interest in the job. It may be that he is very good at keeping Trump in the dark and everyone else is afraid of him.

Anyway, I'll believe that the knives are out when I see it.
