Trump probably has no idea how angry the public is getting. After all, he was shown 2020 footage of Portland to convince him to send the National Guard there and then said "wait, you mean what I'm seeing on TV isn't what's actually happening out there?" Stephen Miller is the Fearmongerer-In-Chief, that has been his number one policy tool and I have no doubt he is using it on Trump as well, and Trump is at this point too addled to know any better and is being actively misled and manipulated by Miller.

Oh MAGA sure like their Fox News talking points. The reality is Biden had more deportations than Trump. However, I’ve seen republicans claim those don’t count because he sent them back at the border (vs deporting the people already here), but then also they turn around and claim Biden opened the borders.
