Holy Cross and Colgate field more varsity sports teams than most SEC teams and their students integrate with the student body and both schools graduate their varsity athletes at 95% range. HC and Colgate don’t get 80,000 for a football game but their school spirit is high and in case of Holy Cross has one of the highest alumni giving rates in the country. Finally both schools are immune from the campus protests at the Browns and Columbias of the country.
Schools with highest alumni giving:
Princeton
HC
Thomas Aquinas
Williams
Amherst
Carleton
Dartmouth
Bowdoin
Wellesley
W&L
Centre College
Alice Lloyd
You forgot Notre Dame, which offers it all. Great football, academics, and inclusive Greek like life. And a football program that happens to be profitable.
I didn’t forget anything…those were the schools that showed up in the top giving rankings (maybe ND is #13?).
You think I just randomly knew that Alice Lloyd college (first time I have ever heard of it) was on the list…but “forgot” Notre Dame?
What is your source? First lists I came up with had ND at the top of the lists:
https://www.usnews.com/education/best-colleges/the-short-list-college/articles/colleges-where-the-most-alumni-donate
https://universitybusiness.com/these-colleges-have-the-highest-rates-of-alumni-donations-the-top-15-may-surprise-you/
Methinks you cherry picked the list.
Here is a list of some of the top-ranked schools for alumni giving, based on the information available:
Princeton University
Thomas Aquinas College
Williams College
Bowdoin College
Amherst College
Wellesley College
Alice Lloyd College
Carleton College
College of the Holy Cross
Centre College
Dartmouth College
Washington and Lee University
Again…do you think I have some ulterior motive to promote Alice Lloyd, Centre and Thomas Aquinas?
