Probably helped her get educated on old school music, classic texts, old films... He was her best friend who was frequently sending her songs and ideas, even collaborating with her on albums like Midnights (aka, helping her write and record them in the studio with their common friend Jack Antonoff). And she flat out stole his band’s aesthetic on TTPD.

I don’t care who Taylor ends up with as long as she is happy and putting out good music, but let’s give credit where it’s due.
