How honest are you with self-checkout?

12 pages of everyone saying the same thing...There are people who don't scan and get caught. There are tons of security footage videos on YouTube showing people who are caught shoplifting and detained. Cameras are there for a reason.

The attendent tried to physically stop me to pay 5 cents as I walked out. I told him to f u ck off and call the police. There are plenty of men out there that would have dropped him the moment he put hands on them for a nickel. Hes lucky I'm not one of them.

I called the store once back at work and told the manager the story; he aplogized and promised that wasnt policy. I still told him they will never see another dime from me.

You're bragging about this?

I am 100% honest at self checkout. If you’re a functioning adult, why wouldn’t you be?

I prefer going to the line with the cashier, especially if it’s a big shopping trip. Self checkout seems like work and at certain stores the self checkout system is horrendous. System always telling you to remove item and place in bag- even though you have done so, scales are uncooperative- tells you to center the item since I guess they think people are thieves and trying to manipulate the scale. At one local store they have up to three clerks helping with the faulty self checkout lines. Seems like it would be easier to go back to more full service lines.

You are a dishonest jerk. You were wrong and then tried to get a minimum wage employee in trouble at work because of your own choices? Nasty.

This was some kind of BSD moment for you--over a bag the stores are mandated to sell? Get over yourself little man.
