Usha Vance - Fashion Thread

The pink coat is pretty, I wish it was more fitted. And also should the scarf be tucked under the belt? I think that looks weird.

Yeah I can't tell if it's supposed to be tucked under the belt or if she did that herself to keep it from flopping around.

Who made this coat? Another Oscar de la Renta?

She has looked great all weekend.

The tucked scarf is a fashion thing and it's probably designed to do that because the belt is clearly designed to be worn with the coat.

However because the coat is oversized and poorly fitted, it looks bad. Also the scarf has been poorly tied and arranged up at the top -- it looks sloppy and more care should have been taken to make that look nice, or a different coat should have been selected. Especially since she was seen from the neck up so much so the sloppiness of the scarf was really highlighted.

I can't believe noone has posted this atrocity yet. Kudos to her for choosing an Indian-American designer, but I don't like the dress.

Seriously? It’s gorgeous on her.

Really? I'm one of Usha's biggest fashion haters but that is actually one of her better looks.

I do not support her husband or her party politically, but she is not frumpy. She is beautiful. Unfortunately, she choose a bad dress in the first picture; it doesn’t fit well. I wish more women understood that strapless must be fitted perfectly, and doesn’t photograph well (close-ups look like you aren’t wearing clothes).

I found Usha Vance gorgeous in her outfit today. It really made realize what a beautiful woman she is. At the time of the GOP conference and when she first entered into the limelight, I thought she seemed a bit weatherworn. Maybe unfair. Maybe it was only the contrast with the over groomed Trump women. But wow. She is gorgeous.

She and Vance have wonderful body language together. They're clearly comfortable with each other. There were moments in the videos today when she seemed nervous walking into the hall but once she was with Vance she was immediately comfortable. Very normal especially as this is probably the beginning of a whole new life for her. I wish them the best of luck.

Yeah I can't stand her but that's not on her. Strapless dresses need to be banned. No one likes them, but that's all there is, so you occasionally have to wear one.

It was not unfair to find her weatherworn at the RNC when she wore a rumpled dress, shoes where the sole was falling off, and barely bothered to brush her hair or put on concealer.

Usha is not a pretty woman, she has good height, decent features and a fit body BUT her gray hair, under eyes circles age her a lot and she wants to wear these as a badge of honor so it’s fair that we criticize how we want.

Exactly. She thinks she's better than women who take pride in their appearance. Of course the Trump crew is probably thrilled because they think she'll appeal to ordinary women who don't have the botoxed and bleached look that a lot of MAGA women have.

No one is falling for it.

The bolded and your concluding wannabe snapping it off sentence are both deranged. What’s your issue? What suggests that this woman does not “take pride” in her appearance? I don’t get it. And I’ve posted - not her neighbor, not Indian American, not her friend, not Republican. Like how does this woman’s appearance get under your skin to this degree? I don’t think anything about her styling is an F-you to any of us watching her.

I think it is very clear that she wears the gray hair and underage bags as a badge of honor as PP said. If you can't see that, I can't make you see it. That's not me being a "wannabe" that's me seeing what is obvious to several people in this thread.

And she doesn't get under my skin to this degree. I think she actually looks nice today, largely because she appears to have spent time grooming herself.

DP, I see the gray hair and bags. But why is it a badge of honor rather than the mark of indifference? What leads you to say honor?

I think she looks lovely.

Anyone know where her pink coat is from?

She is 39?!? Yikes

I like this one. Who is the designer?
