What colleges do you have negative associations with and why?

Every school with a big football program has "fans" like that.

I’m a WVU grad and got treated the same way by Maryland and PSU fans. I’ve also seen WVU fans acting like that. I agree it’s sadly common across all fan bases.

No dog in this fight. But I think that these universities attract people that are already narcissists and obsessed with amassing power and wealth rather than create them. I think DeSantis and Cruz were already a**holes before getting to Yale and Princeton. They used these places to get to where they wanted to go.

I think college is important but we way overestimate the impact it can actually have on human character over 4 years.

Totally agree and every single alum I’ve met from these schools from my ex H to several bosses to people in my peer group have exhibited fairly obvious narcissistic pathology. Chicken or egg, I’m not sure, but it’s been interesting to see
