This is weirdly irrelevant. (And I say this as a vet). The townies at my son's school regularly call him the N-word. He's biracial, and in most places people think he's Italian/Greek/India. I mention that only becauase I suspect there are kids who fall into the above category getting the same from time to time. |

The weather complaints get so old. All the Ivies used to be way more regional in terms of student admission and weather was not a big deal. My Cornell grandparents who grew up in NY never mentioned anything but winter fun. |
