Given the recent Supreme Court ruling on gratuities, it’s not clear that the DC AG or anyone else could prosecute them even if they wanted to.

But it is shady behavior and those doing this - providers and recipients - should be named and shamed.

This aint got nothing to do with force. This is about people coming down on others trying to do right in the community. T slip up and done something maybe he wasnt suppose to do. You forget about all the good cause everyone riding him. So what he took some money from a contractor- it wasnt money going to DC anyway. He did not take any money from DC. And what he done dont effect the services still being provided to communities.

The contractor gave him 3% of what they were paying services for. He literally stole from DC.

They are required to stay entrenched in crime and make under $50k annually. They put their lives at risk and risk falling back into the crime.
