JD is marine and a lawyer. He went to Yale law. He understands war.

JD was fat and out of shape when he entered the military. He saw no combat - he worked in the communications office instead of going to battle. To suggest he's a big war expert is a big stretch...

His experiences in military would be the only experience a a Pres or VP has had since George W. I see it as a huge benefit, regardless of if he took a bullet. There is a lot more to the military than fighting

DP. I'm not going to comment on his stint in the marines but I will say, every Yale law grad I've known has been crazy, and not in a good way. Harvard law, that's (still) respectable. Yalies, not so much.

JD Vance's service in the Marines was as a rear echelon public relations guy.

For those of you criticizing his military service....... tell us more about Biden's or Harris' service in the miltary.

And, if you think a military combat correspondent isn't in danger..... Read this. This is only ONE of such correspondents killed in action.
