I'm still annoyed that Thiel used his wealth to destroy Gawker

Essentially, for reporting that Peter Thiel is gay, which duh. And not an issue since basically 1982.

But it does seem predictive of how it's going to go with JB Vance. There will be no real reporting when Peter Thiel is Vance's bodyguard. Thiel will destroy media organizations.

Which is unfortunate. i did like some of the writers at Gawker, Jezebel, and Deadspin. Good stuff
