HR reasons on why its likely still posted.

SJC boosters are in denial that Ince is departing ways with the program.

Really happy for Garrett. Madlax for a few years then St. John’s for seven years. He is going to rebuild St. Stephen’s!

Great relationships with kids and families. They'll be sad to see him go but wish him luck. SJC has plenty of time to figure out how to replace him before they spring.

If boosters are so upset, isnt that an easy solution? More money.

Lol. No one upset or sad. Good guy and will be rooting for him. However, SJC will not miss a beat. Significant upgrade already inbound.

More likely is bc sssas is a mess, or he hasn't accepted. If he'd accepted, the proper response is to take down the listing and make an immediate announcement. Fertile ground over there but little support.

Wish Ince well, but he’s not a miracle worker. SSSA is a mess. Roster is almost completely depleted of college bound talent, administration not keen on transfers, and local talent base interested in SSSA virtually non-existent

In recent years, there has been plenty of local talent in the greater Alexandria region that have ended up at WCAC / IAC schools when historically a lot of these players naturally ended up at Saint Stephens.

During the Andy Tabil era, Saint Stephens fielded some strong elite teams that would give both Landon and GP a run for their money less than a decade ago. Most of Tabil's success started with establishing a pipeline with the Alexandria youth programs, not to mention Tabil was an excellent coach.

If the new coach with the support of the administration can court and keep some of the local talent home and begin to establish a pipeline with its MS program, I don't see why Saint Stephens couldn't get back to being a dark-horse program in the IAC.

Now whether or not the administration wants to support the lacrosse program over the long haul, remains to be seen.

SSSAS sports are a mess. They have gone way downhill. He will be fighting a tough battle with no talent and an administration that doesn’t prioritize athletics.

Is that what happened the last few years? Lack of support?
