And I think he definitely waited until she said something because he didn’t want to look like the bad guy. Whoever he called knew it was coming. Like he made his exit plans already and was just waiting for his cue. That man couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Yeah, he never acted like he was into her. Made me dislike him a little.

I posted upthread I felt he wasn't physically attracted to her. I didn't realize she felt the same way. Not sure if it was mutual lack of attraction from the outset or if she was responding to his not behaving in a romantic way toward her.

I think Brittany's response to the raising black kids conversation was really mature. She deserves better than Ken.

I think if he made it to his mid-20s without dating a white woman, he's really just not into them. That's okay, people have preferences, but he should have been honest with himself and Brittany instead of stringing her along.

What? Try to switch that narrative around. If he made it to his mid-20s without dating a black/asian/hispanic woman, he's really just not into them.

This is what I don't understand ... it's so unnatural looking. I can't imagine guys are into this.

Women aren't getting their nails and lashes done to please men. Are you 90?

So they actually think that looks good to each other? Eek.

It’s just the current trashy trend du-jour. I don’t know any many who likes that aesthetic either.

That’s often the case too, as we often see in reality dating shows with white male leads and all white women finalists. Humans have preferences, that’s reality.

Agreed. She's clingy and smothering. It's too much!

-I've always liked Laura, and still do haha.
-Jeramy I didnt like from the start (he sounded like a major ho) and I guess we'll see what happened with Sarah Anne.
-Ken/Brit I was so sad about. But he didnt seem into her, even in DR on the boat. The way he kept saying "everyone says I'm overly affectionate" and he barely touches her was a big red flag for me.
-Johnny is starting to piss me off. He just assumes all women are on BCP? But he wont wear a damn condom??? He is the one holding up their relationship, and it shouldn't be on Amy to put drugs in her body just so they can have sex.
-Chelsea is sooo annoying. "You didnt kiss me once" "Heres 2x I did" ...5min later... "you didnt kiss me once!" UGH definitely clingy. I didnt like Jimmy from the start. Unfortunately I think he got 2 bad picks (step dad or stage 5 clinger)
-Clay/AD I dont like. He is not mature enough. He doesnt know a single black guy who hasnt cheated?? He needs to hang out with better people.
-CLAYS MOM - how fuc*ing dare she try to give advice to a fiance "I've been married 25 years" blah blah. After she stayed with a serial cheater, she has no right to judge someone elses marriage. Gave me sooo many icks.
In that same conversation, he said he loved her three separate times, and then she said “you never say you love me!” lol

My point is that just because someone hasn’t dated a certain race by mid 20s doesn’t mean they aren’t open to it. He might only socialize with other black people for a number of reasons.

I must have missed it when I was FF through episodes with certain people. What episode is that protection/vasectomy conversation?

Yeah, I thought she was going into that conversation hoping he would agree to try harder to make a physical connection. Instead he was like “Oh, this won’t work, but good luck!” He did it politely, but still, that man ran so fast.

Agree, he didn't want to be the bad guy, especially because she's sweet and tended to say all the right things. Initially I was a big fan of him, and of them. Too bad.

In an EW interview, he claims he still felt the "crave" for her. Maybe it was the edit, but I did not see that at all.

"Kenneth reveals that he didn't feel the same, which made her confession hurt more. "It was hard for me to hear, because I'm just like, 'I actually still crave you. I actually still desire you. I actually still see this with you,'" he says. "I still just have to be honest and respect her for telling the way she felt and how she felt, [because] the wedding is less than a week and a half away. There's no way that I in good conscience could say, 'Let's go through with the wedding,' knowing that we stood at these places at that time."

I knew there wasn't instant chemistry but I still can't believe they quit so soon. I think the chemistry could have grown! There must be more that they didn't show.

Unless I dozed past it, I noticed that they haven't shown us any of their friends/family. I'm wondering if that's the feedback that stalled out their relationship. Especially since Kenneth's never dated a white woman.

Hmm, you’re right, I don’t remember seeing any of their family or friends.

Also, I read somewhere thar Kenneth called it off a week before the weddings but the episode made it seem like it was earlier. Can’t trust the editing at all!

I agree with all of your thoughts. I kind of like AD - I've hated Clay from the start. And his slurping soup directly from the bowl in PUBLIC and ON FILM? If that's what his manners are like in public ...
I really respect Laura - she's going to make someone very happy some day. She's great.
Chelsea freaking out at Jimmy calling her clingy was ridiculous - she IS clingy! Also don't like Jimmy - seems kind of blah.
Ken really disappointed me - I didn't even understand his reasoning for breaking up.

We saw Clay’s mother and sister.

Maybe the show won’t spring for bringing them into town (especially if they know there will be no wedding)?

I don't understand how Chelsea bragged about what an amazing communicator he was on vacation, like at the cast party. But then he calls her clingy and he apologizes and she says he needs to be a better communicator.

Run Jimmy Run!!!! Chelsea (in the latest episode) is making me root for him and I wasn't a fan. She is officially the most annoying character in LIB history.
She acts like a 16 year old girl and she is 30!

I died when she said she is secure in herself. She’d incredibly insecure.
