Her insecurity is terrible, what a drag. It's so unfair to JIMMY.

I think my faves are Kenneth and Brittany.

Sorry, typo

I don't dislike her, but I'm not far into the series. But her lip fillers are just UGH. She's very pretty, why?

Her story is so sad. I completely get makeup is like her armor facing the world. Maybe when she feels more secure, she'll lighten up with it. The funny thing is she's the one who looks like Megan Fox!

Her unkind side comes out in episodes 4/5.

She's conventionally pretty, but she's also had a lot of work - veneers, nose job, boob job, and a LOT of makeup.

Matthew is one cold mother f**ker.

**spoilers**
I really like Laura! I dont love Jeramey but I hope they work out.

I cant believe AD picked Clay. But I guess her other match just straight up left, and she wants to stay on the show. I dont like or trust Clay at all. From his "I cant commit w/o knowing what you look like" to him straight up yelling at her about having a connection with someone else. He's volatile and dangerous IMO.

I was also rooting for Trevor. I agreed with him when he said she picked someone who was debating between two women but he was 100% in with her.

I dont think being previously married is a huge deal, but I think having a 10 y/o is. Not that Jess shouldnt have gone on the show, but thats quite a big thing for these late 20/early 30 dudes.

I was also rooting for Trevor, BUT… He gave her a collar. He gave her a collar. He. Gave. Her. A. Collar. I know it was his dog’s. I know they have the same name. I know he didn’t understand the optics. But he gave her a collar…WITH HER NAME ON IT!!!!

And despite all that, Trevor probably would’ve been a better fit for Chelsea because they’re on a more equal emotional level. It was the “You made me feel uncomfy” comment for me. She whines and talks like a baby. She’s Zaneb all over again.

I think Jimmy was struggling hardcore with becoming a stepdad overnight. And he just didn’t want to sound like the bad guy and say it out loud. I don’t think it makes him bad at all. They have an extremely short time in the pods, and if he chose Jessica, he also would’ve chosen her daughter. And even if he doesn’t end up married to Chelsea (I’m assuming they break up, actually), I don’t think he’ll regret Jessica one bit. Because he didn’t want to be a stepfather, and that’s ok.

Interesting to get a bit of country flavor with the Charlotte location. Some participants (ha, want to use the word contestants) are transplants but quite a few seem to be from small, rural towns.

Notable:
- Mullet and different hairstyles, particularly on the men
- Accents
- Maybe college educated participants?
- Seems like 18-year-olds getting married are more common

Clay is driving me crazy.

He switches between psychotic superficial man (I will tell you to get your fat ass into the gym, I dont hang with fat women) and then being so fricken sweet (talking about her dad/wedding).

I agree with everything except the collar haha. Yes its weird, but that was the first thing they talked about and bonded over! I think it's still kind of sweet.

I feel like Jimmy isnt that into Chelsea though. He keeps saying he is, but idk, I dont feel it 100%. She seems to need constant validation and I think that's because she can also feel he's not in it 100%.

I agree - Clay is confusing and problematic. But it seems like AD likes to "save" men, like even with the Matthew dynamic.

It was very revealing when Jessica started to rant about how Jimmy had ruined the experience for her and her chance essentially, to lock down a husband. And maybe to become internet famous? She does have a really rough background - maybe that's why it's been hard for her to find/be in a good relationship.

The thought behind the dog collar was sweet but yeah, maybe not the best gift.

Jimmy +alcohol is not a good look. Chelsea took things too far but he was insensitive, too.

She has a lot of baggage, maybe the least of which is having a ten-year old.

I think the only reason this has any chance of working out is because she IS hot and his type. I still dont really think that's enough to build something on, but I'm just a regular, non influencer person lol.

Laura is really annoying me with this "just trust me, leave right now" but refusing to say why. She's just being dramatic and cruel.

I actually think she was doing her a huge favor. If she hadve left when she said, she could have avoided a whole lot of embarrassment on TV. She comes off looking really really bad later (imo).

Idk if telling her "he told someone else he loved them" would have been great, but she was trying to save her some heartache being broadcast across the world.
