I also feel like there has to be more to Kenneth and Brittany's story that their hiding. It just makes nonsense how abruptly things ended and that they're just the best of friends now.

Eh, zero physical or romantic chemistry once they were out of the pods. It fizzled pretty much right away, but they kept trying until it was clearly just not right to keep going.

This isn't uncommon at small charter schools - they need someone that will work a billion hours and is very passionate about the purpose. A lot of the more administrative stuff is handled by other leaders who don't report to the principal but to the charter chain region / HQ. Don't know if he's at a charter school, but that'd be a my guess.

AD says she is what she wants to be. I think there's a bit of delusion going on there and she doesn't realize healthy people can see her cracks. Clay is not ready for marriage at all. And honestly AD would not be a big match for him because she's too willing to carry him and overlook his red flags. He needs a different type of woman. And sometimes he talked about being in therapy but sometimes going in the past. He's not finished baking - he's not ready to come out of the oven yet.

You say that the night before so you spare her that humiliation and lay the groundwork. Especially when you knew what you were going to say the way it seemed he did.

But my heart kind of breaks for him, he's messed up. And he doesn't want to be and knows he is, which is a hard place to be.

How come Jimmy was allowed to dump Chelsea the night before but they made Clay wait until the altar.

The way Clay was kissing AD after the No was so cringe.

Because Clay wanted more money. He’s a hustler. From a review of their contracts: “At most, Love is Blind participants receive $8,000 for up to eight weeks of work. But they may actually receive much less: pay is determined based upon how many weeks they’re involved, and it’s $1,000 per week.”

Wow, so it just occurred to me that there is a financial incentive to get engaged and stay on the show till the wedding day! No wonder there are so many mismatched couples!

I agree. He is VERY self aware. It is a good example of how a parent's infidelity can scar their children (I have seen many examples).
He is genuinely trying I think.

Agreed. At the lunch with his mom, they discussed how she wants to be a successful real estate agent and works at a night club. That’s a hard life to live when you are in your 30s and working an opposite schedule than most, and no way she’s making a decent wage. He is very into his career and making money. It was never going to work.

A man breaking up with a woman because she didn’t make enough money. She’s right she wasn’t enough. Guess these are the woman’s rights we demanded

I think the real question is why did SHE not say no? He is obviously attractive and smooth, but he never gave an ounce of indication he was remotely ready for marriage. I like AD and not sure how they come back from the altar, but she was willing to settle and shouldn’t have.

Anyone who is rejected in the pods and the quickly pivots to another person is desperate to get married. That is what she did.
