If they have such little regard for the intelligence of black people that they think they’ll vote for him on the basis of the VP being black, and not actual words and actions of Trump (both sides-ing C’ville, statements on Central Park 5, long history of housing discrimination, not to mention his words and actions around Obama), they are in for a rude awakening.

Besides, Trump is in fact deeply racist as is a not insignificant portion of his base, and it won’t fly with them. My guess is that they will choose a “pretty” woman, pandering to a much larger segment of the population.

There are plenty of black people who support Trump already.

Pretty sure he would keep his senate seat if they lose, unfortunately. What’s interesting is that people keep touting Kari Lake as a VP option and there’s no way she could win the AZ senate seat if she started campaigning for VP at the same time.
