Prove me wrong.

All the people listed so far are conventionally attractive.

Trump doesn't like overweight people, especially women.

He also wants people to look the part like he thinks they look on tv or the movies. He would never think a dark-skinned person looks the part of VP.

Are you his therapist? How do you know this? Sounds like you are projecting your own biases.

A woman would be the right choice though. That's where he's weakest.

Elise Stefanik would be a good choice. She's bright. She's sharp. She's a Trump loyalist. She's a lot quicker and more informed than Kamala Harris. She's a more plausible potential president. And she's a shiny new thing for most people.

Kristi Noem might have worked. Telegenic governor. Trump loyalist. Married with three daughters. But like almost every woman associated with the Trump White House, she reportedly had an affair with Corey Lewandowski, a slimy operative who seems to have singlehandedly destroyed the political futures of at least a dozen republican women.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders doesn't change anyone's vote. She'd be competent though. No small thing in Trump world. And she's comfortable with the press, which is important to Trump. Could do worse.

Worse would be Kari Lake. Genuinely nuts.

How is Sarah Sanders, a first term nepo-governor, qualified?
How is Stefanik, who is only a US rep, qualified?

You don't read much or pay attention much to politics, do you?

List all the overweight people in his cabinet.

Meanwhile, read up, my friend. You'll learn something.

Donald Trump believes that those who aspire to the most visible spots in his administration should not just be able to do the job, but also look the part.

Given Trump’s own background as a master brander and showman who ran beauty pageants as a sideline, it was probably inevitable that he would be looking beyond their résumés for a certain aesthetic in his supporting players.

“Presentation is very important because you’re representing America not only on the national stage but also the international stage, depending on the position,” said Trump transition spokesman Jason Miller.

To lead the Pentagon, Trump chose a rugged combat general, whom he compares to a historic one. At the United Nations, his ambassador will be a poised and elegant Indian American with a compelling immigrant backstory. As secretary of state, Trump tapped a neophyte to international diplomacy, but one whose silvery hair and boardroom bearing project authority.

How is a game show host who managed to bankrupt two casinos qualified? And faced multiple sexual assault charges? And multiple fraud charges? And wears more makeup than a drag queen? And has five children with three different baby mommas? And was besties with Jeffrey Epstein? And has numerous ties to Russian oligarchs? And whose father was a member of the KKK? And who has been sued thousands of times for failure to pay his bills? And who has a gold toilet? And who has been bankrupt three times?

The bar is very, very low.

Sarah Sanders held her own as press secretary under Trump - no small thing. That is a difficult job.

Stefanik, a Harvard grad, is sharp. She absolutely devastated the university presidents at those hearings. And she was smart enough to stand back and let them destroy themselves. Clever. Wouldn't want to debate her.

He won't choose Tucker.

Tucker Carlson would upstage him, and that is unacceptable in Trump world.

I also think Tucker Carlson has some financial things he doesn't want disclosed.

Katie Britt is the dark horse. My bets are on her. Unknown, pretty, football player husband. Would totally be subservient to Trump.

Trump said his VP pick won’t be much of a surprise

Given that De Santis just dropped out and Scott endorsed him over his patron Nicky - I am guessing he offered it to one of them.

Likely the kiss of death after Swampy Trumpy is defeated …
