This. So many of these folks are homeschool or weirdo religious-niche private school families. |
+1 Or kids at all. |
The banning isn't because the books are in elementary schools (they aren't), it's because parents don't want them in schools, period, even though they are fine to be in a highschool library IMO. Stop talking about elementary school, you're being disingenuous. |
OK. And Gender Queer isn't in elementary or middle schools. Some extremists were also criticizing a popular home sex ed book and called it "porn". |

Americans are stupid
What do you all think will happen when a dictator takes over? Defunding the police and abortion will be the least of our worries. Installing a dictator makes us North Korea or Russia. It boggles the mind that Americans vote for republicans who are going to install a dictator. That alone should scare the crap out of all of us. The fact Americans do not get this is incredible |
They only want to talk “Gender Queer” and have blinders on to everything else. |
25% of all women - that is a huge amount of people in the US! |
I don't understand it either pp. I'm voting the the party that wants to keep democracy. It used to be both parties, now it's just Democrats. |

Yeah. The fact that Jan 6 wasn’t the end of all this nonsense is terrifying. There are people (lots of them) for whom that was not a dealbreaker. |
I just don’t get how that wasn’t a dealbreaker for people. How TF do they rationalize that? |
God is not the one to thank lol |
