Gullible people seem to fall for the “_______ wants a TOTAL ban on abortion” nonsense. So it clearly preys upon the idiocy of both sides. |

- except vaccines. Then, I have to do whatever you say. |
| I’m pro-choice, but crime impacts my daily life greater than abortion restrictions. I can’t say this campaign strategy isn’t the right call. |
Very rarely do four properly arranged words convey so much. Well stated. |
Seriously. People in NOVA can just drive to DC/Maryland if abortion is banned. We’re not talking about a state like Texas. |
Yep. Then that whole “my body my choice” crap goes right out the window. |
This. People blame DTP for crime, even in jurisdictions where police funding was never cut-- or was even increased! |
I didn’t force you to get (or not) get a vaccine against your will. |
| well maybe you should have thought of this OP back in 2020 when people were getting fired for even daring to suggest law enforcement has a legitimate purpose? |
At no point was it ILLEGAL for you to not get vaccinated. Dumb comparison.
|
Absolutely correct. My votes moving forward will absolutely take into account how politicians treat the police department, more now than ever before. Crime is a FAR bigger issue to me than abortion. And no, I’m not MAGA or even a Republican. (I’m independent, but Democrat so I can vote in primaries.) I’m just sick of watching local govt pander to criminals. |
Until Virginia starts to prosecute uber drivers for transporting you for an abortion …. I am very much in favor of better crime prevention/law enforcement but for many people the consequences of an unwanted pregnancy are actually much MUCH greater than getting mugged. |
well, until you are forced to have a baby right? |
Right. Some ignorant jerk gets fired and blames his inadequacies on misinterpreted political jargon. |
