You know nothing of what happened prior to that so stop with the message you are trying to relay

It's just another strong indicator of MCPS decline when students at these schools act like gang members.

It’s likely because they ARE gang members.

Quite possibly.

Tell me you’ve always lived west of the park without….

Actually, no.

Are you familiar with gang issues in MoCo schools?

Ski masks???

Only criminals carry them. They need to be prepared when the group opts to knock over a 7-11 or launch a melee.

Thugs be thugging. Poor people have poor ways.

Those violent teens need reform school. Quickly.

Growing up in NJ, our football games were always Saturday morning.

Yes. And have done the gang training multiple times.

+1 Excellent idea, if the alternative is what we've seen in this video.

To add - Some of those kids (not the attackers) appear super young. Please don’t ascribe adult attributes to children of color.

What were those super young children doing there?

But this didn't happen at the game.

That was my thought as well. They look like they are freshmen.

DP. Being high school students, presumably? It's quite common to start high school at 14. 14 is not an adult. Are you saying it's categorically inappropriate for a 14-year-old to be in downtown Bethesda without their parents at 8:30 pm on a Friday night?

MoCo is so gross now.

The next home game will likely be right after school and parents of players will be unhappy they can’t make it because of work.

Not about football. Not about night game time. Not about police. Not about principals or coaches. Not BCC WJ rivalry. Systemic breakdown post-pandemic. Adolescents in crisis across the country. And, MOCO was the last district to open school doors during covid. Bigger issue, going to get bigger.

I think this is true, and it’s so sad and so daunting.
