It’s curious that so many people here are so anxious to blame Joe and chalk this up as an innocent mistake, while at the same time poo-poo’ing the very possible theory that this entire thing was a set-up by RW actors within the govt, including secret service.

I literally do.not.care. about this. He has turned them in. He is cooperating, unlike Trump's team to refused to give them back, made attestations about the documents that were false, and then tried to de-classify the documents wiht Trump's mind.

Do I think every POTUS and executive working out of the WH takes classified documents (the issue is should they is separate)? Yes. Unfortunately, one recent POTUS is handling as he should; the other is a dirtbag obstructing justice.

It is entirely plausible that agents with access to these locations could’ve planted these documents as a retaliatory operation against Biden’s Justice Dept raiding MAL. To suggest otherwise is preposterous.
