I've been writing for years that "diversity" and "racial equity" are merely euphemisms for reverse discrimination. Denying or disparaging the achievements of others is no way to address the racial imbalance in academic performance.

Offering remedial courses for underachievers is a better idea, but liberals reject that solution because many underachievers have no interest in remedial courses or in genuine learning-- that want distinction as a matter of "right" rather than merit, like participation trophies in children's sports. But education is not a game -- and life awards no participation trophies.

What racial discrimination exists at TJ?

discrimination against high-performing Asian students

You mean the group with the highest representation at the school?

There are more women than men in this world. By your logic, women cannot be discriminated against?

You are probably ok with colonialism as well. How could the majority in these countries be victims? Look at their numbers?

If the claim is discrimination in admissions, then the representation certainly matters.

Agree. It doesn't make sense why the College Board doesn't just electronically notify the kids directly.

They do.
When PSAT scores come out the year before on Collage Board, you can look up how to calculate the index score that National Merit Scholar derives to make the decisions. When the decision for what the index for 1% and 3% is decided on for all states, it is public ally published and has the info by state.
I guarantee every single parent in TJ knew exactly where there kid stood long before the certificates happened.

Asra 100% knew that her child was not in the NMSF camp, but was instead in Commended.

I cannot believe that so many on the right are falling for this package of lies.

They have NEVER let facts get in the way of a good story.
