Polygraph or no, they don’t seem to be doing anything to check on these agents. How is it possible that no one is checking on their finances to see if they might be taking bribes? Free housing is a huge amount of money and these agents just flew under the radar with no one at the SS checking

There really would be no way to know. They were not getting large influxes of cash into their accounts. They were not buying expensive cars, boats, or 2nd homes that exceeded their incomes. For this same reason I really do not like crypto - it’s so easy to bribe someone with it and the government would never know unless revealed by the agent himself.

Financial checks are based on self-reporting and (in my experience) they are looking for situations where you don't have what would be considered normal expenses. When we paid off a car and kept it we got a request to explain why we no longer had a car payment. No one is poking around in your bank accounts as a matter of course.

I can't believe these guys aren't re-polyed though. Polygraphs are BS, but they are also unpleasant as heck. A good incentive to keep your nose clean other than just being an ethical person.

Gift reporting is a joke. The only people that would get dinged for that are GS 12's that kept a bottle of whiskey. Witness Trump and Pompeo's disappeared foreign gifts. Barely in the news and there will never be any consequences.

What you should be demanding - instead of being distracted by these two Cons- is HOW poorly DHS and USSS vet/ background check their Hires because these two fanboy wanna be " Special Agents" fooled 5 - count that FIVE federal USSS/ DHS employees, listed but not named in the indictment

What America should care about is the WHOLE hiring/ vetting process at DHS, not just this wake up incident

For example, I know of one DHS hire in 2011 ish who was hired and given a security clearance despite the following in her background/ DAILY associations:

This Department of Homeland Security employee moved to DC from Oregon where her mother had been convicted for 1st degree Armed Robbery, Assault, Forgery, check Fraud and Heroin Possession - this contact lives with the ACTIVE DHS employee currently and has Daily contact with her

And Her father convicted of : armed robbery, tax evasion, heroin possession


This DHS Employee went onto - wholly unsupervised by Department of Homeland Security- stalk an American family at the behest of a Yemeni foreign national

There is no " security" engendered by this agency who will obviously hire and retain almost any sociopath


Is this perhaps how a rogue DHS employee could stalk an American family, while making it look like its just all coming from a gmail account at Google :
